Lip Lift with Dr. Miguel Mascaro

I found Dr. Mascaro on real self, and his work interested me, so I decided to ask him a couple of questions on his instagram account. I wasn’t expecting such detailed and helpful responses in return, so at that point he became a serious consideration. I’d like to add that during the whole process of scheduling and preparing for the surgery, every time I messaged him, the replies were almost instant. I then had a FaceTime consultation with him, and that was what completely won me over. I had a long list of questions prepared for him, and he very carefully listened to and thoroughly answered all of them. He gave me his full attention, and relieved me of all my concerns. Dr. Mascaro treats you with such great and attentive care, and I felt a genuinity from him that I felt some of the other surgeons I was considering lacked. The day of the surgery I was anxious about the procedure, but as soon as he came in, he gave me a huge sense of relief. He’s a very fun and sweet guy, so he’ll make you feel comfortable as soon as you meet him. In my case, I already had tooth show and I didn’t really care about having a fuller top lip, I just wanted a shorter philtrum. I was so stressed out though, because I already had a decent amount of tooth show, so I was expecting to look like a rabbit afterwards. I expressed my fear of having too much tooth show to him, and he reassured me that everything would be fine. I now have a cute little philtrum, and he kept my increased tooth show very minimal and perfect. I’m so happy I chose Dr. Mascaro for my lip lift, because he will truly listen to your requests, and do his best to meet them. As for my experience with the procedure itself, it was a breeze. The shots only hurt for a very short moment, but the pain was very tolerable. If you’re worried about feeling anything during it all, I couldn’t even tell when he actually started cutting because I felt absolutely nothing. He plays great music during the whole thing, so that makes the process even easier. I actually found the whole thing kind of relaxing lol. Later, I only started to feel a little bit of pain a couple of hours after the procedure, so I took some pain meds. That was the only time I used the pain meds though, because I didn’t experience anymore pain after that. The stitch removal part couldn’t have been easier. It hasn’t even been a full week yet, and the incision is almost invisible. I can already tell that it’s going to finish healing beautifully. I’m so happy with my results, and I am very thankful to Dr. Mascaro.
