Mouth open picture. Less teeth are showing and doesn’t look so heinous as it did in the beginning! I am still massaging daily and I know that is helping. I feel less self conscious and more like myself which is the best feeling to get back to.

20 month update

Lips have fallen - I massage them almost daily as directed my another plastic surgeon. I think I am also finally getting used to my face. I’ve looked at other people’s experience with this procedure and I’m envious at how so many peoples lips and face just automatically improved. I think it’s so important for anyone considering doing this to ask your plastic surgeon how much of a change it will make on your face. No one prepared me for that and it was really really hard to get used to.

11 month update

Upper lip has relaxed a bit more. I still feel it looks unnatural Altho am feeling hopeful that it will look better eventually as my lip keeps stretching. I am considering getting a tiny bit of filler in my lips and also my chin as it wrinkles a bit when my mouth is closed. I am not against getting this procedure done, however I think my doctor over exaggerated the middle part of my mouth. I would do this again but I would be way less aggressive.
