Dr. Rafizadeh is very patient, knowledgeable and gentle. I had two lip lift consultations with him because I was on the fence about having the procedure done and he sat with me for over an hour the second time and provided me with as much information about the procedure as possible. After that, I knew that I wanted to move forward with getting it done.
The procedure itself was painless (due to the anesthesia) but the pain the next few days following were pretty intense. I started feeling better around day 4. I got my stitches out yesterday and now it is day 6. So far I'm in love with what I see! I think the final results after some more healing are going to look fabulous! Really grateful I found such a great doctor along with a great staff!

Hi Anj213! Thank you for the review on your lip lift. I've been considering one for about 10 years I'm 64 years old. . I'm afraid of the scars. I'm also between Dr Rafezadeh and Dr. Brys. Are you still pleased with the results? Did Dr R tell you how much to lift or did he leave it up to you?
Hi there. As long as you take care of the incision you should heal nicely. I purchased Silagen Gel with spf in it from the office that I apply two times a day which helps with the redness and scarring which seems to be working well. I use concealer to cover up some of the redness. Keep in mind healing takes time. You should go talk with Dr. R. He will measure the distance between your upper lip and nose and suggest how many millimeters to remove. You can always ask if you can do more or less and see what he says. I think if you’ve been considering one for 10 years you should set up a consultation and get all your questions answered. I know Dr. R will address all your questions & concerns. All I know is I’m so happy I had it done and very pleased with the results. Best of luck!
