Lip lift, corner lift - stunned at the results, beyond my expectations

Decided to get a lip lift after a consult with a facial plastic who mentioned a lip lift, fat transfer to eye area, lower face lift, etc. I wasn't ready for all this so decided to do one procedure at a time, a la carte, staring with the lip lift. I never had lip filler or desired fuller lips. Over time my philtrum grew to 20 mm and my corners started drooping from overactive depressor muscles. I researched for a year before choosing Dr. Mascaro. I studied before/afters, read reviews and watched YouTube videos, looking for outcomes, patterns, and details in the artistry. I waited two years for my surgery, and I'm stunned at the results, beyond my expectations. Two months post op and I have perfect lips with no visible scars. It has dramatically changed my face for the better! It doesn't address the jowls however for some reason I have less wrinkles, less jowling and the scar above my lip is gone. My lips are full and symmetrical for the first time. RBF is gone, praise God! I'm so grateful for MMM (magician Miguel Mascaro) talent! He truly is gifted with this procedure. Cons: Although I looked camera ready at 3 days, and went out to eat day 2, the internal recovery is a long process. Not to be underestimated. I looked great but inside the whole area feels stiff and with every passing week gets 5% better. I kept asking my family if I looked weird. They couldn't see what I was feeling inside. Was told at three months I should be good (smiling, opening mouth wide, etc.) Looking forward progressing in the healing process and realizing full results at 6 months.

Zero scar, perfect lips shorter philtrum. Feeling blessed I had this procedure. For excellent outcomes I believe picking the right surgeon is critical! Dr. Mascaro has this procedure down to perfection as evidenced by his results.. Post care is really important too. Patience is very important as it does say take some time for the internal healing to complete. Although I looked completely amazing after a month It took at least six months for the stiffness to go down. I would not recommend this surgery with other procedures at the same time, ie face lift. The lips are center, dynamic, and the focal part of the face. It needs complete attention, not just a "ad on" procedure while getting other procedures, in my opinion.
