My lip lift procedure has been almost a month of post op. I never wrote a review of anything but I want to do it this time because he is such an amazing, down to earth and excellent bedside doctor. He answered all my questions and told me all the pros and cons of this LL procedure. I felt he was very knowledgeable and great aesthetic point of view. I booked the procedure right away after consultation.
The numbing injection was painful but quick. The whole procedure was painless and easy. It was done approx. 2 hours including all markings and measurements. My long philtrum was 18mm and he said the maximum he could took off was 6mm for me to look good. I trusted him and glad I did. After surgery I took a train home without any pains or uncomfortable. After few hours I felt a little pain but bearable. At night time I took one pill of Tylenol so I could sleep like a baby. I didn’t take the pain killer he prescribed. Next morning I woke up with no pain at all and ever felt a pain or uncomfortable. I went back to work after 3 days wearing a mask. No one will question you why. I took an advantage of this time to do this procedure LOL.
The incision area was a little stiff and tight in first two weeks. After that I felt nothing bother me. The swelling and bruising was subsided in two weeks. The scarring is clean and small and i see the redness is fading day by day. I can tell it will fade away in time. After 3 wks I used concealer to cover the scarring. The only con is my nostrils are slightly widening than original but it doesn’t look bad to the point I want to get it fix. I hope it will continue to get smaller as time goes by.
I’ve been wearing a mask at work since after procedure until today I didn’t wear a mask.
Today I’m almost a month of post op. My entire face look normal and my lip shape and scarring continues improvement till 6 weeks. My coworker asked me today your lip looks different, you look more youthful, sexy and in the trend Lol. His compliment make me feel this procedure is worth it and I do think I look younger with shorter philtrum.
I will have post op appt. at the end of this month. I highly recommend Dr. Gary Linkov if you want to get LL done. Here are my before and after pic. The last pic I was wearing lip stick today.

By shorting the philtrum it does make my petite face looks very Proportion and cuter now so I have no regret at all. If I knew this procedure exists I would have done it few years ago. Hope this will help you!
