Age 57, lip lift, brow lift, chin implant & skin pinch

I started thinking about a lip lift in 2020. I had been doing fillers and really liked the way my lips looked after but I didn't want the long term effects of fillers. I had to put a deposit and wait a year until I was able to do a virtual consult with Dr Mascaro.I picked him because his scars are impeccable , I like his before and afters. I live in NJ and there is a physician 5 miles away who I also consulted with but I had my reservations . . It was a quick consult because I was at work. Initially, I wanted a brow lift and lip lift . i have been doing botox for 20 years and it does not last more than 3 months. Because I normally work out five days a week, I seem to metabolize fillers and Botox very quickly. Anyway, after the consult I was given an estimate. I was told the estimate would be good for six months and then prices may go up. I was in no rush . . In the end, I booked surgery for October 2023. After I finally booked the surgery, I started thinking of other areas that bothered me. I have wrinkles under my eyes which Botox cannot address. I also thought that maybe a small chin implant would help my profile. I consulted with Dr. Mascaro in April 2023 and we added a skin pinch for under the eyes with laser and a chin implant.
I'm not ready yet for a facelift and I can't afford to have everything that I wanted done plus a facelift. I'm 57. I feel like I look pretty good for my age. The before picture was taken the day of surgery, no make up or filters. I actually I was hesitating putting that photo app because that's not how are usually look.
I flew from New Jersey to Florida with my daughter who is 25 and we stayed in a nice house and a gated community that I rented. We were near the beach and it was so hard not to go but I was told to keep out of the sun. I saw Dr. Mascaro the day before surgery to go over everything. He gave me three options for the lip lift as far as height. We both agreed that the middle option probably be my best bet. I did want to go for the highest option but at the same time, I wasn't ready to risk a scar. He told me that the more aggressive the lift the bigger the scar because of the tension.
My daughter drop me off at surgery the next day. I don't remember much. When I woke up I didn't really have much pain just a massive headache. I stayed for a week until all stitches were removed.
I've had many surgeries and there wasn't much pain aside from the daily headache from the brow lift. I did get an allergic reaction under my eyes to the gel that was prescribed. About a week later it got red and very itchy. Dr. Mascaro gave me a steroid ointment and that seem to do the trick. I still get mild headaches every day but I was told it should subside in a week or two. Right now I'm just shy of two weeks out. I'm extremely happy with the scar from the lip lift. It's barely noticeable I'm getting filler in two weeks to really accentuate the lift. I could've gone a little higher but then the scar might've been compromised.. I'm happy with all the work Dr. Mascaro has done. No one has really noticed or said anything except one friend of mine who asked me if I did something because I had no wrinkles LOL He saw me and bright light about 10 days after surgery. The other thing I'm going to do a sculptura for my cheeks to give a little more definition and fill in the lines around my mouth. Hoping this delays the need for a facelift for at least five years. I don't think my husband can handle any more surgeries lol. No regrets about traveling out of state for surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Mascaro.

So your I’m at six months. The scar in my nose from the lip lift is almost invisible. In other words, I don’t even notice it don’t put any cover up etc. Brows have settled a little. Happy with everything I had done but now I want more lol.
