10 Month update!
I had 5mm implants placed in both top and bottom lips.
The whole experience and procedure was a long but easy experience for me.
It took along time for all my swelling to go down to truly see what my permanent results would be.
A problem that I have had is my top implant stays to one side of my lip! You can’t tell but it’s really annoying. I have not been back to my Dr. for this, however I think I will make an appointment.
Another thing that is very important, is to stay hydrated! Even after you’re completely healed. The reason I say this and it is very important is because when you don’t keep your lips moisturized or stay hydrated, My lips literally shrink I know it might sound strange, but I’ve noticed when I don’t stay hydrated my lips get small, the implants sink deep down into my lips.
If you still want bigger lips you an get fillers on top of your implants s well.
I always use a plumping lipgloss to give my lips an extra plump.
A nude lipliner brings your lips out more as well,makes them look huge!
I wold stick with colored lipglosses.
Lipstick doesn’t look horrible but it does shrink my lips.

This is a month and 1 week post op..
Just look at the difference from the before and after. I’m so happy with my results, Dr. Shah is so amazing.
I did get 0.5 cc of resylaine in my lips at the same time I had my implants put in.
Instead of my lips going down over time, I feel like they actually look better with time.
