The treatments I have received at Westside Aesthetics are lip filler and fraxel laser. My consultation was initially pleasant with the nurse, she seemed very attentive and friendly. When it came down to getting my treatments done the results caused more damage than anything. I was treated too aggressively with fraxel and am left with gridmarks from the laser. My lip filler made my lips very wide, puffy, and filler migrated above my upper lip within the first month. I booked follow up appointments to express my concerns regarding filler migration to my upper lip and nodules formed. The nurse dismissed all my concerns told me she didn't see any issues and that it looked great. When it came to my fraxel the thing I was constantly told was to give it time. I got both treatments done in October 2020 and I am still left with gridmarks on my face and had to get multiple sessions of hylenex to dissolve the migrated filler. The staff here and Dr. Rivkin do not care about their patients. They only want to get you in the door and once you're out any issues that you have is no longer their concern. When I finally decideded to write a yelp review since they kept asking me to leave a review. I wrote my honest experience so that potential clients could be warned. Dr. Rivkin was extremely condescending and unprofessional in his response. Instead of addressing the issues and taking accountability. He made it about "fitting into my budget" which I never brought up once. In regards to that the nurse would ask me if I wanted to pay before getting treatment which was very odd. If you want to spend more money on fixing their mistakes this is the med spa for you. Otherwise do not let their social media fool you with their results. They edit their photos and use different lighting to manipulate the results show on instagram. Please do your research in finding a provider that genuinely cares about the work that they do on you. You are a walking advertisement for their business. I understand mistakes happen but your provider should want to help resolve their mistakes.
