This Place Lacks Integrity
I had a deeply negative experience at New Radiance Cosmetics and would not recommend this provider or this location to anyone. During my appointment, Karen Shields injected me in areas I did not request and completely disregarded my clear request to focus only on very fine lines. Instead, I was overfilled, which caused visible and ongoing issues.
I was then charged significantly more for a second injection that I did not feel was appropriate or necessary. I am still in the process of dissolving the overfill and addressing the damage that was created, which has been both stressful and costly.
When I raised my concerns, Karen did not take accountability and instead dismissed them by telling me that I “looked good,” rather than acknowledging the outcome or my experience. After that, the manager, Chelsea, contacted me and fully defended Karen. I was denied support, my follow-up dissolving appointment was canceled, and I was ultimately refused any assistance. I felt completely abandoned as a patient.
Additionally, I formally requested my medical records. By law, they are required to provide them within 30 days, and it has now been over 30 days with no records provided.
I am currently addressing this situation through legal channels, and the matter is still ongoing. I will update my review as appropriate once there is resolution.
While the staff initially presents as very friendly, that tone changed completely once I voiced concerns. In my experience, the friendliness felt transactional and disappeared the moment accountability was required. If you are looking for a provider who listens carefully, respects patient consent, and operates with integrity, I strongly recommend going elsewhere.
