.55cc of Juvederm Voluma

I wanted a subtle change to my lips, so I went for half a syringe of Juvederm. I have large eyes and a strong nose, so it always bothered me that my lips were small and rather thin by comparison. The main focus was bringing more thickness to the upper lip, but we added a small amount of volume to the bottom as well. The picture shows just my second day of healing, so they are still stiff and swollen, but I love how they look so far. Unfortunately, I discovered my sensitivity and phobia of needles to be worse than I thought it was, and I nearly fainted after the procedure! Because of this, I am not sure I will be able to maintain filler. However, maybe in a few months, I will feel braver!
