Terrible Experience

ORIGINAL POST

Terrible Experience

My experience with Dr. Allen was a total disaster and I seriously can’t believe these reviews are real as I did lip filling with this sir and my request was for 1 syringe of juvederm he ended up putting 2 which I obviously had to pay without even asking my permission for the 2nd. Just claimed that my body absorbed very fast the product and it didn’t work with 1. And even after this mess he managed to break one of my lip veins which became insanely swollen and I couldn’t even go for work for weeks after this episode. He started to tell me the problem was me and I should do some blood tests because it could be a problem and blablabla. A doctor full of [RS bleep] I’m sorry as I’ve found after a really great doctor with who I’ve been doing lip feeling every 6 months and never faced any issue.

Break one of your lip veins? You can get filler 50x without bruising but the 51st time you will. It's a risk every single time and promise you it doesn't affect your results nor is it an issue. Take arnica pills and ice girl you'll pull thru.
Hi Marta2020, thank you for your review and comments. We always prioritise our patients and their care before anything else.
At our practice we believe that lips are to be built gradually especially if you’ve never had lip fillers before. That’s why we recommend that you start with less and you can always add if needed. Swellings is a typical reaction following lip filler treatment, some lips tend to swell more than others, but it normally subsides within a week. and in terms of bruising, although rare, again it is a side effect associated with any injectable treatments and may occur even in the hands of the most skilled doctor. It normally subsides within 7-14 days.
The Juvéderm filler that we use is Juvéderm Smile which only comes in 0.55ml syringe. You had two syringes during two sittings 6 weeks apart. And this was in 2017.
We are glad that you are happy with your current practitioner and wish you all the best.
