I love the youthful look it gives me

Lip Filler

Motomommy2016
WORTH IT$700
I’ve always had full lips, but this year I Finally decided to take the plunge and get some filler in my lips to make them more pouty like they were when I was 19 (I’m 41 now).
I have had Juvederm in the apples of my cheeks once before, so I knew I could tolerate the filler, but what kept me from getting the lips done was because I had heard it was the most painful of all the fillers. After speaking with the other RN (in the same office as Arlene) who had done my cheek filler, she said she gives a full dental block to Arlene’s patients who request it! So I thought what the heck it was worth a try!
The whole experience was pleasant. Because of the dental block I felt nothing but a bit of pressure and one tiny poke. It wasn’t until the block wore off 7 hours later that I felt a little achy in the lips, and I took 500 mg of Tylenol and it did the trick!
The next week my lips were dry and feeling swollen. I definitely had bruising, but makeup covered it well when necessary, which wasn’t often because we are in Covid world right now, so I was able to wear a mask most of the time.
So I’m 15 days post injections and I still feel lumps inside my lips, but I’ve grown used to them. She used a thicker version of Juvederm, XC I believe for longer lasting results, so that could the reason I still feel a little bumpy but no one can tell just looking at me and my husband says he can’t really feel it when kissing me.
All in all, I’m definitely going to keep this up! I love the youthful look it gives me. I feel so much more confident and lipstick actually stays on my lips now! Before it would all come off quickly except for the vermillion lining area of my lips and I would be walking around looking like I only put on lip liner all day! This filler is awesome and I’m sad I didn’t start doing it 5 years ago!

Make sure you don’t have lip injections then. The bruising is part of the process.

Why even take the time to type that?? YOU are awful. And rude

My feelings weren’t hurt. This isn’t for everyone. The bruising and swelling is a bit much but once they settle down, I love them and that’s all that counts. ☺️

This is to motomommy.. I read those terrible comments that were written on here to here to you. First of all, most of us learned this rule in kindergarten and that's..."if you do not have anything nice to say, then do not say it at all." Those individuals have proven that they do not have the maturity level to be on this site.I think we all well know that we are on here to improve, both our "inner and outer self." And it's safe to assume, that those most of us that are on here, sharing our "pictures/journey," are most likely, still in a fragile state of mind. So, with that said, please bite your tongue next time or take a break from this app & REFLECT.

I’m sorry - are you telling me to bite my tongue? Or those who leave comments that are abusive?
