satisfied!

WORTH IT
After about 10 months I decided to visit Dr.Oh again. I was concerned about skin sagging but after seeing him, turned our that it was just my salivary glans huh...
So, apparently, my salivary glands are quite big, so after reducing the bone, they became so noticeable, who could know that haha! I was suggested to get some botox and it really worked!
Very satisfied with how everything came out, no regrets!

The asymmetry is totally gone as well as swelling and I’m very happy with the result. Gained some weight for the past month and now my double chin with chubby cheeks popped out. Already talked about it with Dr.Oh. Although, he suggested to lose my excess weight naturally, I’m considering acculift with buccal fat removal but not sure. Will try to do my best.
As for my v-line results, I’m beyond satisfied. It was definitely worth the time and money I spent. Hope someone can find my review helpful and informative. Good luck everyone!

You're so pretty. Im from US. just want to know how much to have V-line surgery?
thank you so much! I paid around $9K
you look great! How long did it take before you were comfortable being seen in public?
I think after a month or even a bit longer because of swelling. Also, my right side was swollen longer, so by the end of maybe month 2 I felt more comfortable
You look amazing. How do you keep your skin so white.
Hello the title of your post says if you’re are considering v line talk to a good specialist first! Yes that is true and dr oh is not the one to talk to.
He cut up my partners jawline without her consent , he pushed her jaws so backward she has difficulty breathing and severe obstructive sleep apnea
You looked fine before the surgery and never needed this
Your edited photos don’t show your real face
It is likely too small now
Are you having sagging skin?
He upsold you the zygoma which
Wasn’t needed nor the v line
I’m sorry he’s tricked you

He has a suspension of qualification that is not a good specialist to go to

Please post real photos

My before pics are the ones I took on the day of the surgery, there are some filters but the asymmetry in my lower face is still noticeable. Since I’m currently residing in Seoul and posting a review from here, RealSelf set KRW as a default currency, I tried to change it but couldn’t. So, the price may not be precise due to the exchange rate. If you send me a message I’ll tell you the exact amount.

The idea to proceed V-line appeared in my head long ago when I first came to Korea as an exchange student. Eventually I found a job, my second half and decided to stay here. Being in an advantage of my abilities in both time and language, I searched a lot and visited several PS’s. Btw, the consultation isn’t free everywhere, which I personally think is a bit low as some surgeons didn’t spent even 10 mins on me. Their prices vary between $20-50 per consultation and on top of that I also had to pay about $50 for CT’s and X-rays. As I found out later, highly reputable places would never charge you for just a consultation, although you’ll have to pay for CT’s and X-rays, which I personally find totally reasonable.

The decision to proceed a surgery at Regen was made right after my consultation with Dr.Oh. Like no other doctor I met before, he pointed out the real problem I had – asymmetrical lower face. While other surgeons just agreed that I have squared jaws, some even tried to convince to proceed zygoma reduction as well, he said that my face looks pretty enough without any surgery and THAT very small something that bothered and dissatisfied me all the time wasn’t actually in my wide or squared jaws, it was just in a slight asymmetry caused by a bit more protruded lower jaw from the right side. I was truly amazed how passionate he was about his job which also reflected in his attitude. Our consultation was very informative, leaving a very positive impression on me.

Although I’m a light smoker, I needed a month to prepare for the surgery. A day before the surgery I came for a body checkup. The operation was supposed to start at 11 next morning, so I started fasting from around 10pm. When I arrived Regen I was directed to the recovery room where I was supposed to stay. I washed my face, gurgled my throat and headed to the operation room on the 12th floor. I can’t say much about the surgery itself as was under general anesthesia and woke up only when everything was over. There was a lot of pain in my neck and slight swelling. Btw, swelling has a tendency to reach its peak by day 3-4, at that time I felt like my face is just about to blow up. On day 7 when I came for dressing, drain removal and laser treatment, I felt much better. Stitches were supposed to be removed after 2 weeks but Dr.Oh, after seeing me on the 7th day, suggested to wait a week more.

Now it’s been 2 months already, I do feel great but my right side is still a bit swollen. Last week I was at Regen again and Dr.Oh said that my recovery goes quite normal. I try to cover it with some makeup and hope it’ll be gone very soon.

the after photos are either heavily edited or have a filter on them...
Sorry i like to use a camera app for photos and they automatically apply filters but none were used for the shape of my face. I will try to upload unfiltered photos i took at regen.
You look beautiful before. I don't see why you needed V-line surgery.
Thank you, but now I felt more satisfied :)
The after has a beauty can filter which is ubrealistic. To be honest she was very pretty before and didn’t need any surgery. The surgeon should’ve turned her away but I guess the money was too good to pass up.
well that was solely my decision and I don't think that anyone could change my mind and I also think that now I look way prettier as I didn't find anything "pretty" in my asymmetrical face before the procedure, actually.
Why are you on a surgery website to tell people to avoid surgery?
How long has it been since your vline surgery? Also, do you still have incredible tightness around your smile (chin and lower jaw area)? I have a lot of tightness in that area and it's been over a year since I had surgery with Dr. Oh. I also no longer have any jawline. there is no curvature to my jawline. It goes straight from my ears to my chin with no jawline!
It’s been 4 months already. I have no tightness and actually, I feel great. I’m so sorry to hear that your rehab didn’t go as smooth as mine, maybe you need some more time to wait… As far as I know, recovery isn’t same for everyone :)
Dr Oh seems hit and miss either he does amazing result or complete mess
hi dear, can i check with you how much you paid for this surgery? I’m not sure how to DM you so sorry
I paid around $9K
