My Second V-line, Chin Was Numb and I Felt Some Discomfort After Zygoma Reduction

WORTH IT
The initial problem I came with was zygoma. I did know that my previous v-line surgery was far from perfect but I thought there’s nothing can be done to fix it. I came to Seoul with a friend and we both got consultations at many places before coming to Regen. I already had experience with plastic surgery (my first v-line and rhinoplasty about 7-8 months earlier), so I kinda knew what to expect from a professional experienced doctor and how a good consultation should flow.
So, we met with Dr Oh. He immediately noticed my lower face asymmetry and how prolonged was middle face with quite wide cheekbone. He explained where mistakes were made during my first v-line and how approximately my face would look after the surgery. After our consultation I talked to the assistant about price. I was quoted around $5k during my online consultation but due to v-line revision it raised. Regen left quite positive impression and yet, I was thinking about other places but the more I visited the more I liked Dr Oh. Few days after I made my decision and decided to go with Dr Oh. So, my first consultation there was on April 19, and 4 days after I came back to make a deposit and reservation. I wanted to proceed my surgery on April 25 but Dr Oh’s schedule was already overwhelmed, so I had to wait up to April 29.
The recovery this time was a bit harder. A week after I came for drain and stempler removal, took new bunch of CT and X-rays and got some laser treatments as well as massage. The second treatment I received few days later. After 2 weeks I came for stitches removal but not all were removed and I also met Dr Oh. I was supposed to come for remaining stitches removal on May 21 but schedule was overwhelmed again, so I did it a day later. Few days after I flew back home.
Everything went pretty smoothly up until July when I started feeling some discomfort in cheekbone area and I was also worried that my chin was still numb. I contacted Regen and they said that during my surgery everything went smoothly and there’s nothing to worry about.
Now it’s been almost 4 months already and I actually feel way better. My chin is still a bit numb when I touch it but I feel how it’s tingling from time to time which indicates that my recovery is on track.

So, it’s been more than 5 months already. I feel great and totally in love with my results. the only thing I regret about a lot is that I didn’t come to Dr Oh in the first place. He is such a professional. I feel no numbness any longer and think that couldn’t get a better outcome. I’m beyond satisfied and glad that could find Dr Oh.

On 8/1/19. My right chin is ok but my left chin doesn't get better, that leads me to believe I have permanent nerve damage.

Girls be very, very careful. Dr Oh is supposed to be the king of facial contouring. Some girls are LUCKY and some girls are BOTCHED so badly. Do you believe you are going to be lucky? Of course everyone dreams of the fabulous VLine but when it goes wrong you are in a living hell, numbness that won't go away so you end up drooling salvia down your mouth, headaches, pain. Once you are botched, Dr Oh won't talk to you on the phone. The whole clinic ignores you or tells you it's swelling and wait 6 months. READ the story here on Real Self and on Purseforum.com under Asian Plastic Surgery. You may get lucky, you may not.
