I found JMISKO Surgical Design online, and after a consultation and meeting Justin, I knew I was on the right track. They customized their consultation and took time to understand my goals. I was pleased to learn Justin has nearly a decade of experience as a hair transplant doc, and that his team has been a part of over thousands of procedures.
We decided on a 3000 graft Artas and manual FUE. Knowing I had to travel, the team was flexible with scheduling, and helpful in finding and booking a hotel so I could drive up the night before. They also offered a variety of payment plans.
The morning of the procedure, I had another consultation with Justin and met his team. They designed my hairline, and made sure all of my questions were answered.
Once the procedure started, the experience of the nurses on his team was clear. Justin and his team seemed to move effortlessly around me, chatting with me, and keeping me comfortable.
I spent some time leaning over and then on my stomach while the grafts were taken out. The girls on the team chatted with me and I listened to music. I was able to recline and watch movies while the grafts when back in.
At the end of the day, they took time to go over my post op instructions and explain my medications with me and to review all of it with my wife.
Since my procedure, they have followed up multiple times to make sure I made it through the first week, as that is the most critical time for the new hair. It took a few days for the back to heal, and about a week for the scabs around the new hair to fall off.
I am looking forward to seeing my result, but am very pleased with my decision.

The high experience level of Dr. Justin and his team was obvious. They explained how the Artas is a tool for hair transplant, and how important it is to make sure I was comfortable with the experience level of the practice before moving forward. I never felt pressured. They were so knowledgeable, and seemed passionate about hair transplant from the start. The team of nurses did everything possible to keep me comfortable. It would have saved a few hours of travel to be able to have the procedure done in KC, but this is a permanent result and I was not willing to risk my result on an inexperienced practice.
