I am 48 year old woman that gave birth to two 9lb babies. They stretched my belly to no end. I consider my self physically fit (work out 5 days a week). No matter how much I did abs, I could not get rid of the sagging skin. So I did my research and sought consultations with 3 different surgeons and they all said that if I want the best results then tummy tuck would be the answer. My hesitation had been the hip to hip unsightly scar. My doctor listened to my concerns and told me what she could do to help minimize the fear of having the unsightly scar....boom...i was sold!

I apologize for mixing up my post op video and pictures. What you are seeing now is 15 day post op and not 23 day post op.

This is my big concern! I will be taking off three weeks, with one week light duty. As an RN, my job is long hours and physically demanding. Gonna go for it though! Your later pics look great!

Oh, late 40's, excercize nut with the belly full of stretched out twin skin and seperated muscles! I had two full size babies in there!

The 1st two weeks are the hardest in terms of low energy and trying to get acclimated to the healing process. By week 3 you should have energy to return to work however, I caution you to be mindful that you had major surgery. You should not lift anything over 10 lbs. Go for it!!! When are you having surgery.
