Oct 2017 update

decided to continue to share the journey. it's making me more accountable. I've been cf eative with my exercise because the gym just is not my thing. I took some pole dancing classes, bought a blue, and travel places where I walk a lot. regimented exercise not so much. cheat days show immediately. I've been able to identify a pattern. a weekend of bad eating can be reversed with Three weeks of clean eating. I'm getting married in April so I'm actually going to break down and work with a trainer. I'll post my journey. I still have dark marks on my side's from wearing the compression garment. believe or not they've faded. I try to coconut oil on them directly and shea butter when I remember. its taking longer to heal than I anitcipated. recently, may be within the past few weeks the last of the scar tissue below my navel finally healed. its been rock hard forever and a bit misshapen. now it's a lot smoother. I still find that being mindful about your eating habits and doing a little something active will maintain the work. I'm excited to see what actually working out will do. stay tuned

1 year post op

Next week will be my one year post op anniversary.

I honestly Just started working out January. Ive been taking dance classes twice a week. Outside of that ive been maintaining with my eating habits.

Ive gotten so used to wearing the compression garments that it now feels strange not to wear one.

I put coconut oil on my scars. They aren't as dark as they were but theyre still there. Hopefully if i keep putting it on itll eventually just fade away.

Still happy did it. Thank you Dr. Boutte

Post 6 months .

Things still looking good. I don't wear the spanks as much but I do wear them at least a few times a week. Ithing stopped around month 5. Stomach still a little lumpy but I think it's my abs. My results have referred 2 clients to Dr Boutte. They are both happy thus far. I just wish I could get a referral something since I've turned into a walking billboard. :-)

Beautiful person inside and out. Her staff made me feel very comfortable. Cheryl is awesome and worked with my personal conflicts. She worked with my schedule and ensured that I had the best procedure. The two nurses were great. Very encouraging for my pre op. I was very comfortable and wasnt nervous. Anesthesiologist was absolutely magical. I asked him for the best sleep.. and I definitely received it. I think a checklist would have helped us in the first week of recovery. The nurses were available however my "caretaker" had simple questions that we googled that may have been helpful in a what to expect list. my 1 month post op appointment was amazing. I purposefully didnt look at my before pics and when I saw them side by side with the 1 month pics I couldnt believe i was the same person. I dont have the pre op pics but imagine a cute chunky lovable baby with fat cute rolls... that was my abdomen, literally. Again.. thank you thank you thank you. Looking forward to my second chance!
