2.5 Months Post Op

Sorry for not updating you all. I've been so busy relocating to a new state and adjusting. I'm still healing and each day is different. Some days I swell, and sometimes I don't. I try to eat as healthy as possible but sometimes I can't help it and give in. I had 3 slices of pizza last night lol! Either way, I'm continuing to compress and drink a gallon of water everyday. I definitely need to start going to the gym! My lower back feels kind of lumpy but I heard that's normal. Just hoping it smooths out. Also I have some loose skin on my stomach. You can see it when I'm standing up on the bottom left of my stomach but I rather have some looked skin that I can hide rather than a big stomach that I can't hide!! Anyways, let me know if you have any questions!

In love!!
Although I'm only one month post, I am in love with my results already. I know I have a long way to go. Still swollen and need to be dedicated to eating healthy and going to gym because this is a lifestyle!! I just bought this dress and I'm in love because before my surgery, I would've never been able to wear this! Went from a large to medium in one month!! And I'm down 15 pounds since surgery (from 214 to 199) and I've lost 8.5 inches above my navel, 11 inches at my navel, and 9.5 inches below my navel. My stats are now 29, 31, and 34.5!!! As the swelling subsides, the more inches I'll lose!!

Looking great! My waist is at at 33. I'm hoping to have final results of a 31. If smaller great. I just got a M body shaper from Leonisa but it feels like I should drop to a small. Are you wearing an ab board?

Thanks girl!! You look good as well! I'm pretty sure we will continue to lose inches with compression and healthy eating/exercising. I am also using a Leonisa garment. But instead of getting a new one, have a tailor take it in for you. It'll be a lot cheaper than buying a new garment. And yes, I wear an ab board. Are you wearing one too??

That's a good idea! Thank you, I'm going to look into tailoring. Yeah I wear an ab board too. I've been wearing it most of the day and sleeping in it. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to do that lol but it seems to work with respects to the extra compression making the waist smaller too. I'm just working on my water intake and walking. I'm looking forward to exercising again!

I've been sleeping with mine as well. I don't think it should be a problem. It definitely does a good job flattening out the stomach. Are you eating healthy? And do you have an hard or lumpy spots? My lower back is my problem area. It's so hard!

I've been eating healthy-ish. I'm making sure for the most part everything is low in sodium and my new garment has been helping with the swelling at night. I have so many lumps and bumps. My sides and lower back are my problem areas. I've started the lymphatic massage therapy last week and it did help soften the lower back. She spent practically the entire hour back there. So hopefully with continued weekly massages eventually all this hardness will dissipate.

Week 3 Post Op
Hey ladies!
I'm a little late (3 days late) with this post but I've been so busy!! So this will me an update for my 3rd week post-op. I've had mostly good days as my abdominal swelling has gone down! I got a little carried away and took my little cousins to the park. I got on a swing for about 10 minutes and that was a terrible idea. My left hip got so swollen and I even developed a seroma (pocket of fluid). Nurse Lee said to add compression and maybe that will help. If not, I will have to get it drained at my 1 month post op appointment. Also, my lower back (right before my butt) is soooooo hard and swollen. I hope this is normal. Other than that, I'm eating as healthy as possible (cheated once or twice but nothing severe) and I drink a gallon of water everyday. Check out my pictures and let me know what you guys think!! And let me know if you have any questions.
