Please do diligent research before surgery. I didn't. And l regret it. Results not what I expected now seaching for a new doctor for a tummy tuck.

Had my stomach drained!!!!! :-/

I went in for my follow on Monday 8/25/14 and was told I had to have my stomach drained due to too much fluid build up. I was swollen, I thought, and was just hoping for it to go down with me applying and taking my Arnica pills and gel! I can't even lie before I went to my appointment, over the weekend, my stomach was 2x the size it was before I came in on Monday. I purchased and started using arnica on Saturday and it brought it down to more than half the size. I still had to have it drained and that shocked me because if she would have seen me days before she would have been appalled! The draining was not fun at all and I hope I never have to do it again! Afterwards, I got squeezed into this extremely tiny and expensive body magic that I was told to stay in for three days -_-. Ok. I took off the garment off the next day because I had ate an apple the night before and almost died choking on it because my insides were being squeezed TOO tight! No more body magic, it's on the floor somewhere. Spanx and a binder it is! My waist and stomach has went down drastically, but I still have swelling, hard swelling on my lower abs. I use all the arnica I can and take the tablets because I refuse to get drained again it was 130cc per side of my stomach! A mess! Which I believe it's my fault, I should have called them as soon as I had swelling but I thought it was normal. So much for assuming! :-) No pics! It's not how I want it and I don't want to detour anyone from getting it! Just know I'm getting looked at from every angle even in my swelling it is very well worth it!!! ;-)

WOOOOHOOOO!! TGIF!
The Swelling is the hardest part to deal with,we experience a roller coaster of emotions after these procedures and it's had to be patient. But it gets better after 2 weeks then 1 month and so on.

Lol your absolutely right!!! It's amazing when you see how smaller you get each day! And that is exactly what is happening I love it! I can't wait to post pictures :-). Now Im thinking about getting my bra rolls done!! :-) HAPPY labor day to you too! :-)

It's coming up :) They say it's better to have these done in the winter then you'll be ready for the summer. Yes,the sooner the better. I want my abs done like yesterday but i have to wait.

I rescheduled it for this Friday! I'm impatient and ready to just heal and get it over with! Lol when are you scheduled for your abs? One word of advice ARNICA!! It works I wish I would have used it sooner ! It will be your bestfriend! :-)

Lol your absolutely right it does hurt! :-) and having an infant who likes to bounce on your stomach doesn't help either lol. I will stay compressed, slowly but surely the swelling is going down so I can't complain :-)

I have been dealing with a lot of swelling lately but I guess that is what you can expect from having 5 liters of fat removed. I had my top/lower abdomen done along with my love handles. I will be going back for my bra rolls. I have a follow up appointment for my fitting on 8/25/14 hope everything goes well! I can't wait to finally be done with all this swelling and re see my results like I did on the day after surgery...

COngrats!!!!! YOur abs already look flatter. Hang in there,unfortunately it does take A LOT of time.
But like you said once your SWELLING subsides you'll look AMAZING!!

This is what I want....lower abs done. I have good insurance just wish it would cover procedure. Have been wanting this done for years. It's just so hard to come up with the money. Not giving up, claiming it will get done b4 my 45th birthday January. U look great.

Thank you! Me being younger, I was detoured alot and ridiculed for getting it down because of the cost but it was worth it and my family supported me very much! I applied for a care credit card because that worked for me and I did it that way. It was easier! It may be a debt I have to pay for awhile, but it's a debt I will be happy will paying! :-) Good luck!!

MZLadii...not sure how you feel about creating a debt but, care credit is an option out there for those that need a payment plan. It's easy to apply for and you an instant reply whether you are eligible or not. Just an alternative option.
