I use to get fillers having my last filler of juvaderm October 2015. Fillers can get expensive and I bruised from the filler so that wasn't the greatest for like ten days later I had a bruise on my face. So I decided to go with permalip I have wanted this done for 10 years and finally I came to a point in my life where I would have the right amount of downtown to do it. The procedure itself was a piece of cake the dental block took care of the pain so no pain was felt during procedure I was awake. He also put something in my lips to prevent bruising which now I'm loving bec I'm glad I don't have bruises all over my face. My swelling hasn't been awful but I am swollen some I am on steroids to help the swelling. The dr was great called to check on me the next day.

They look great! I've heard more comments about going too small and not making much difference. At my consult doc didn't even suggest 4's... he said 5's or 6's ( which I didn't know they made 6's). Looks like you're healing quickly too!

I didn't know their were 6 either but I think mine are big enough lol that's what I was scared of it not being enough I will continue to update my progress pictures! Good luck with your procedure! I love full lips! I've wanted the permalip done for 10 years and finally had the downtown available to get it done.

Ty I’m very happy with them I’m glad I don’t have to worry about fillers disappearing and the hassle of having to get them done yearly I had bruising with fillers for a week after so that was a pain!

Your finished result looks pretty. I am not a big fan of fads; particularly"fad" cosmetic surgery, i.e., the Kardashian "big butt" craze, or the "Joleen fish lips." In my opinion less is more, and understated beauty is more pleasing to the eye.

Day 6

Day 6 I'm started to get nervous that I should of went with the 4 mm but I went with 5mm top and bottom! I love plump lips just wondering how much more swelling I have to go down! Dr simmons told me most patients go with 4 maybe I should of listened lol but I was scared it was going to be to small! We shall see when the swelling goes down how big I am! I read a lot of reviews and seeing some people say getting 5 mm they they wished they would of went bigger made me think that 4mm would def be to small and I needed 5 and now I'm like ummm this is big dr simmons did tell me the 5mm is like getting 2 cc of filler! Which I liked my lips right after getting them done with one cc when they were still swollen! My lips have just started peeling they didn't peel in one big strip I prob haven't put enough of Vaseline on them like I should. But they t slowly peeling the skin off of them.
