Years later

Well I didn't end up getting my BA. I instead ended up pregnant! I now have a year and a half old baby and am officially done breast feeding, so the cards are back on the table! Hubby got the snip so no more surprise babies haha!

If you can believe it, my pathetic breasts are even more pathetic now. This last baby literally drained me.
I think I'm going to book a consultation with doctor Hassel, and see how I like him, if I don't like him I'll be venturing to Calgary or back to Dr Brooks.
I have time, I am hoping to pay for the majority of it up front so, I'll be saving for sure.

Calling on Monday

I have decided to go with Dr. Brooks.
I am calling Monday to book my pre-op and schedule my surgery. We talked about possibly Dec 10 as a date as he is at a plastic surgery convention in November.

Here are the reasons I chose Dr Brooks.
1) I felt completely comfortable with him
2) he was insistant that I be minimum 3 months nicotine free before surgery
3) he explained everything very clearly and his patient coordinator was prompt with email inquiries back to me
4) I felt like he would only use what my body could handle for size and shape to avoid complications
I will update Monday when I have the exact details!
Eek only 3 or less months to go now!

11.5cm bwd

Well I didnt try on sizers, but I got my measurments done and spent almost an hour wit. Dr Brooks to discuss everything that goes along with breast augmentation.

I felt like he understood what I wanted and explained all the risks and benefits to the surgery. I quit smoking about 8 weeks ago and although he congratulated me, he also said that he likes to see 3 months before he'll consider operating on someone.
He talked about Dr hassel considering I am from Lethbridge and wondered if I had been to see him yet.

He told me that Dr hassel does more breast surgeries than all doctors in southern Alberta combined and that he respects his work. This made me feel comfortable that he didn't feel the need to compete or downplay another doctor.

His reecommendation for me was 350cc natrelle style 20, which is the high profile. He said to go any bigger I would have to go with the uhp and he thinks that i would be able to feel and see the implant with this style. He said that due to not having much breast tissue (less than 1cm :( haha) that I could see rippling even with silicone in the larger sizes.
He explained that i have symmetrical breasts but one of nipples is slightly lower andthe other faces slightly more outwards and that adding an implant won't change that. He explained that I'll see thosr minor imperrfections in the final result and that he wanted to make sure I was aware of everything before hand.

I have a good feeling about him and think I'm going to talk to my finance and decide whether to just boon with him or wait until the consult with Dr hassle Before making a decision .

I feel with how busy Dr hassle is that I might not get the attention, and after care that i want. Any ladies find that busier doctors tend to give less attention?
