I had my consultation early august. When I had called it was to be in late November but there was a cancellation! I made my schedule work and was excited to see what he had to say. I had in my mind I wanted a full tummy tuck and implants. Deep down I knew I probably needed a lift but was really not set on it. Dr. Hasell met with me and said I needed a lift as well. He also said I had enough tissue I could go over or under the muscle and that it was my choice. We both agreed 375 or 400CC implants were ideal for what I wanted. I left the office and decided this is what I wanted to do. And called the office for surgery dates. They had one opening in October then the rest would be December and into January. I took the October one and knew somehow I would juggle my schedule to make it work.
I tried everything to get a tighter tummy but no amount of working out is going to fix loose skin and the muscle gap after having a baby honestly so far I am sooo happy I chose dr John Hasell he was very comforting he took his time to asses my problem and takes pride in how even his work is I'm only on my third day out but he came to visit me at my hotel twice to make sure I was ok and gave me his number so I can contact him personally with any concerns and he reply's back fast I get my drains removed in 4 more days and I can't wait because I'd have to say the drains stress me out! Worrying about pulling them out and making sure it's not clogged and milking lol not a fan but I'll update once I get my drains removed Updated on 24 Jul 2020: Updated on 27 Jul 2020: He wanted me to walk straighter but the pulling sensation is crazy it feels like I’m going to rip apart lol but I’m definitely determined to Updated on 29 Jul 2020: Yesterday I almost cried because I noticed the my incision line is really high on the one side I mean I knew it was high I general which I’ve never worn my underwear that high but now I have to and I’m sad because I wanted to get a tattoo to cover it. but With it being so lopsided it’s making that option much harder Updated on 3 Aug 2020: Updated on 10 Aug 2020: I’ve been putting mederma on my scars Updated on 11 Aug 2020: A better photo of my stomach before I got a TT I don’t know if I have another better one than me sitting down but yeah my daughter definitely wrecked me Updated on 11 Aug 2020: A break down of before and after Updated on 14 Aug 2020: I feel like I got so much energy but I’m not allowed to work out until six weeks Updated on 16 Aug 2020: Not a fan of my belly button Updated on 22 Aug 2020: Things are looking good I’m still sore around my hips where my incision is I no longer have to wear my garment the scar above my belly button and the scars to the right side of my stomach or from my gallbladder removal which I had Done before mine done before my tummy tuck I have been putting maderma on my scars every day since I was able to my Steri-Strips Updated on 1 Sep 2020: Updated on 14 Sep 2020:
Easy to talk to and great results. Had my original augmentation and swap 15 years later. In both cases very happy with entire experience. Dealing with front desk is also great although they are very busy they do there best to get back to you as soon as possible.
1 week before surgery. 40 yo. 1child. 5'-4", 118lbs. Currently 32/34 C cup with breast tissue that has volume loss as all mamas do. Would like to enhance volume and size for a fuller ample bosom :) :) Updated on 7 Sep 2019: I forgot to add before photos in my first post. So I’ve included before pics, consultation sizer pics and and a few day 1 post-op pics. I had my surgery Yesterday. It was a really great experience. I was very calm, no nerves at all which surprised me. I was ready and had complete faith & trust in dr. Hasell as he is highly recommended and has rave reviews in Calgary. The staff was amazing. The facility was very nice, clean and very professional. It was a very smooth, seamless experience. As an FYI at my consultation Dr. Hasell measured my breast and recommended that the smallest size I should go is 350cc. That was my starting point and I decided on 375cc after trying some on. Then he upped it to 385cc because the implants are compressed when placed under the muscle. Day of surgery, Dr. Hasell gave me 415cc in my smaller breast & 385cc in my larger breast to even them out. The surgery experience was great and even though I’m bandaged up I think I’m pleased with the size. The implants were round, smooth gummy bears. Regular profile. The first 24 hours after surgery is rough. You’ll be thirsty after surgery!! I was in a lot of pain but that’s because when I got home I made the mistake of taking only 1 prescribed painkiller instead of 2. I definitely needed 2!! I’m now taking 2 pain killers & 1 Ibuprofen every 5-6 hours and I am much more comfortable! I was up and about the house today but taking it very easy. No heavy lifting. I am not showering yet bc I want to leave the bandages on from the surgery. My goal I to take it easy, heal and not touch anything! I haven’t even looked at what’s under the bandages yet. Updated on 8 Sep 2019: Recovery isn’t pretty. I took the bandages off after 24hrs as instructed and my breasts are looking pretty rough. The dr told me they would as the implants are sitting high in the tight muscle and I’m very swollen. I’ve put my wonderful post recovery bra on and will wear it 24/7 for the next 6-8weeks. I was feeling concerned about the swelling and size difference in breasts, so I texted the surgeon and he called me right away to answer all my questions and put all my concerns to rest. Dr. Hasell really is just amazing! I’m so grateful I choose him as my dr for this. Updated on 12 Sep 2019: I haven’t taken pain meds in 3 days. I’ve been feeling pain free. Still tight and sore but not in pain which is nice. The swelling has improved. The breast are still sitting high in the muscle cavity and I am looking forward to the drop and fluff!! Updated on 4 Oct 2019: I’ve been feeling like my implants are not dropping at all and getting extremely concerned about it. So I’m really glad I’ve been taking weekly photos because I can see there is improvement! Feeling much relief after seeing these 1 week & 4 week photos side by side. Side note... after 1 week post op I developed a horrible cold & cough. Grateful I didn’t get this within the first week! It would have been painful. But the coughing was terrible and it was making my already tight chest muscles even tighter. Called the dr and he said coughing wouldn’t hurt anything. I was sick for 2 weeks. Only feeling better in the past week. Hoping my muscles can finally get a break & relax and the implants can continue to drop. I wasn’t prepared for that fact that this is such a long process. It’s a waiting game to see the final results. Updated on 3 Nov 2019: The implants dropping is a very slow process! My left implant is starting to drop. Yay! My right implant isn’t budging and the lower pocket of my breast is still empty. The breast tissue on my right breast is also hanging off of the implant which is making me feel very self-conscious. I hope this implant drops! It doesn’t seem to want to go anywhere!! I have my first follow up appointment with my plastic surgeon tomorrow. His postop instructions were no massaging and no tension band. I’ll talk to him tomorrow and see what he says. Updated on 3 Nov 2019: I forgot to load the pictures for my last post for the seven week postop. Updated on 18 Dec 2019: Pretty much finished dropping. Still a little more settling to do. I’m not completely happy as I feel like I will need a lift to make them fuller at the bottom and my nipples higher. I’ll see how they look in a few more months before I decide if I want / need a lift. Updated on 11 Jan 2020: It’s 4 months post-op and my implants have finally settled. It was a long process for them to drop into place (which is normal but it’s a long wait to see the final results, so patients is required!) I am definitely happy with the way they look. I do wish I went a bit bigger (if I knew then what I know now I would have got 450cc instead of 385cc & 420cc - one of my breasts was much smaller than the other so I needed a larger implant for that breast). Can’t change the size now but over all I am pretty happy. The one breast that I was concerned about hanging off the implant and the implant not filling the lower pocket seems to have settled down into place and I am much happier with the way it looks. I posted a side profile picture of that breast to show that it has improved. This is my last post. I just wanted to show the final out come. I will say the process of waiting for them to drop and settle was difficult for me bc I was very worried that there would be a problem and they wouldn’t look good. For anyone else going through this process the best advice I can give is don’t stare at your boobs in the mirror everyday. Put a bra on, try and forget about what they look like without the bra on and live your life for 3-4 months and then take a look in the mirror at the progress. Take update photos every few weeks or months so you can see the progress! This was very encouraging and helpful for me! I do not regret doing this! I feel comfortable in my own skin again and I feel very comfortable naked and I also feel sexy again! As a woman who gave birth and hated my saggy deflated breasts post pregnancy, it’s is very empowering to have taken action to fix something that I felt so conscious about! I’m very happy with my decision to this and I’d make the same decision again! All the best and I hope my review helps you. Updated on 14 Jan 2020: I should have mentioned that my final size is 32DDD which sounds HUGE to me, but my breasts don’t look big to me? To me they look like normal full sized breasts, but not too big? I don’t know if my perception is skewed or what?! The 32DDD just barely fits and I would need the next size up if I was even slightly bigger. Regardless, I’m happy. And I’m thrilled to filling a DDD! I do see a huge difference in the attached photos of me in a bra (before & after). And I’m just loving trying on bras! It’s so much fun!
After 3 pregnancies and losing over 80 pounds I was left with saggy deflated boobs and a squishy tummy. Dr hasell was amazing at explaining the procedure and showing me his personal before and afters so I could see exactly what my results would be. Surgery was April 30 2019. I stayed overnight in the hospital and the next morning at 8am he came to personally check on me and answer any questions I had. Amazing experience and would highly recommend. My boobs are amazing!! ( lift no implants) and full tummy tuck with muscle repair. You also can’t beat his pricing!
I was always small chested (think pear shaped body). I always knew I was going to get a BA once done having kids, and finally made the dive. I chatted with Dr. Hasell during my initial consult, who said that a mini tummy tuck could be done at the same time (I also had a small umbilical hernia), and instantly I knew I should do that too or I'd regret it. He is obviously an expert in his craft, and I was very comforted by this. There's lots of stuff out there regarding cancer and breast implants, and strange implant related illnesses, and he took the time to talk about all of those concerning things. Dr. Hasell was full of advice on sizes (I didn't want anything too big or "unnatural"). And was very realistic on what the recovery process was going to be like. I am just a few days out of the operation now, and am very happy with the results so far. I have a follow up in just over a week to review, but already I have emailed his office and heard back (his front staff Janelle is AMAZING), to touch base about things, so I feel far from neglected. I highly recommend this surgeon to anyone interested in a BA or tummy tuck (or both!). Thank you Dr. Hasell for this life changing experience :)
Amazing experience at dr hassells office. I had 450 implants high profile and mini tuck with no drains. Dr. Hassell is truly amazing at his profession. The office staff is great and accommodating, and Dr. Hassell is thorough and efficient in his consultation
So far, I have only good things to say about dr Hasell and Janelle the receptionist. I am having tummy tuck/lipo/ breast lift/ no implants. I been to three different appointments, but the day my husband and I met dr Hasell, we knew immediately he was the one, knowledgeable, soft spoken and caring dr. He explained in details about the procedure, shows me before and after pictures and answered all my questions. Regarding tummy tuck, he explained that in addition to it, he will do lipo to contour my sides but unfortunately he won't do lipo on my back because according to him, it's loose skin and will only get worse but also assures me that I will still look great regardless. I trust his judgements as he is the expert and hopefully I get great results. Regarding breast lift without implants, he explained that no tissues will removed but I will not get that upper pole fullness without an implant . But no thx , I don't want implants. Although my surgery is in late April 2019 every now and then when I think about it, I get really nervous about going under. I waited 4 months for the appointment to see dr Hasell and it's something I really want to do, I guess I just have to be courageous. I have been a realself member for 4 yrs now and I don't see many reviews about his work, so I thought reviewing my journey might be helpful to other ladies and gens Janelle the receptionist has been exceptional and helpful, she answers all my questions and reply to all my emails promptly, what can beat that. What a welcome environment, I feel very happy and lucky to be one of his patients. Updated on 24 Apr 2019: Surgery went well, got to the hospital at 8:15 but didn't go in for sugery until 11:30. Dr Hasel and the anesthesiologist were very comforting and put my mind at ease. The only thing I remember after the anastasia was given was belng told that I was in recovery room . Dr says surgery went well. Just having lots of pain right now. Will upload some pictures after Updated on 25 Apr 2019: Feeling much better today, took shower. Taking Advil. My worries now is that I haven't had BM for three days. Taking stool softener. Dr Hasell did a great job with my breast lift without implant. He exceeded my expectations. He didn't do any reduction nor remove any tissues as he said during consultation and I am very happy with my results. I think he is one of the best as concerns breast lift because I haven't seen any results here in Calgary close to his work. Incisions looking good so far. Hopefully the swelling on my tummy tuck incision goes down and the swelling around my hips Updated on 30 Apr 2019: Went to first appointment yesderday, Drains removed, no pain felt during removal, just a weird sensation. Dr says everything looks great, I was concerned abt some drainage from my left breast which has improved today, dr prescribed antibiotics for 7 days as I have low WBC counts. I feel great without drains, still swollen around incisions and hip dr says swelling around hips is due to lipo and will improve with time. I feel much better today, no pain meds. Will see dr on my 5-6 weeks appointment, hopefully swelling on hips which I am concerned about would have improved. All in all I am so happy with my results, hope I did it sooner. Right breast is dropping faster than left not surprising as right breast was bigger and reduction had to be done to look almost same size as left, I still feel more pressure on same. Breast still perky though, love them. Still have swelling around incisions and flank, I am hoping it will reduce with time, which is my main concern. Not sure if it's dog ear I am seeing at the end of tt left incision, guess it's still too early to tell because of swelling. Area around belly button still numb. I see some growth inside my belly button not sure if it's keloid or not, but I thought keloid can form on scars but that area doesn't have any scar; oh well, will bring that up on my 6 wks appt. Started using bio oil on scars. Updated on 24 May 2019: Not much has changed. Still swollen and numb. Healing is going well. Returned back to work , doing ok so far. Breasts are soft and healing nicely. Right breast still has tension underneath and sometimes painfull. All in all, happy with them. Still numb from belly button down. Not sure if it's swelling around my flanks or fat; not much have changed around my flanks. Still hoping it's swelling but at this point, I am thinking, it's fat. On my 6 weeks po appt will discuss that with PS including dog ear on left incision. Using silicone tape on scar, can't tell if it's working or not. Overall, still happy with my results. Way better than what I had before. Updated on 23 Jul 2019: It's been 3 month since my surgery and I have healed well. I mostly swell on my sides .Scars are fading nicely, I use bio oil when ever I remember, not sure if it's helping; I believe scars will fade naturally. For the most part, I am happy with my results especially my breast. I still have some fats on my flanks which I believe he didn't do enough lipo and I noticed that from the first day and have been bothered about that since then . Not quite happy about that though . If no changes after 6 months will go back to discuss it with him as I am not quite happy. It sad paying such a huge amount of $$ and still struggling to hide my muffin top. Updated on 22 Oct 2019: Today marks 6 months since my surgery. I have healed quite well. My sides are still slightly bulged, not sure if it's swelling but have made appointment next month to see my ps to discuss about it, possibility of lipo. My breasts have dropped quite a bit but still happy with it, I wasn't expecting much since I had only a lift. I think I have a little keloid on my belly button and on the front portion of my tummy tuck scar. Overall I happy with my results Updated on 26 Jan 2020: It's been 9 months since my surgery. I have healed quite well. I still have some loose skin around my sides and back. I had coolscupting done on my sides around 7 months which did help a little with some fat around that area, still waiting for final results in Feb. Overall I look great in my dresses. Still thinking how to get rid of the loose skin with going under again.
When I first thought about doing ANYTHING was a couple years ago. I saw Dr Hasell but didn’t go through with it. COLD FEET!!!!!After my daughter had her second procedure with the same Dr and had AMAZING results. I booked to see him again. I was originally thinking just of a BL/BA but thought I’d ask about a TT. No harm in asking?!? He examined and said he doesn’t think I’ll need any MR and if I did it’d be all below the bellybutton. YAY! This meant I could get a mini-tuck! I didn’t really love the idea of having a vertical scar from where my old bellybutton was OR a new bellybutton so this was great news! After the consult, I was on the fence about a BA. The Dr said I really wouldn’t need it unless I wanted some upper pole. Now who doesn’t want that????? I thought it over for months and eventually decided, why not????? I called and booked! At that point I was about 8 weeks from surgery. I was still going back and forth... should I do it? Should I get the BA? Maybe I’ll forget about it and cancel. “Too much money for vanity” is what I told my husband. I didn’t send in my payment until the LAST day I had. Once I sent it in, I’m not sure if I was relieved or more scared???? Once the money was sent, I started preparing. Hubby works a job thst he puts in long hours so I’ll probably be home alone most of the day during recovery. My one daughter is ready to drive me to and from the day if and my other daughter took a day off the next day to help me out. I’ve been cooking and freezing. Cleaning. Writing and re-writing lists. Only a few more days to go!!!!! I think I’m close to ready! Now.... if I could get rid of the butterflies in my stomach!!!!! I CANNOT believe I am doing something like THIS for ME?????? Updated on 16 Feb 2019: 3 more sleeps and it’s go time! I’m getting super nervous and keep having a dream that Dr Hassel gives me butt implants that are HUGE!!! Haha I’m still not sure who’s driving me yet. Either my hubby if he’s off or my daughter. Surgery is 8:45am. I think I have everything ready! If not I’ll have to go without. Added a few pics for your viewing pleasure... not! Updated on 18 Feb 2019: Well... it’s the day before my surgery and my nerves are worse than EVER. I spent the day finishing up last minute stuff and getting my recovery room ready. I have to be at the surgical clinic at 7:45. I think my hubby is as nervous as I am and wishing he could be there but work calls. I’ll update tomorrow when I’m there and have my preop markings done! Updated on 21 Feb 2019: Two days post op and I’m doing pretty good. I’m keeping on top of my pain meds and taking it easy. I took the bandages off yesterday and I was pretty shocked. I’d seen the incisions before but not on me! I got a little woozy and dizzy! I decided against the shower and went back to bed. I’ll try again later today. I’m still pretty swollen but I am impressed with his work. My lines are very thin and even. He’s very meticulous and it shows. I’ll add pictures of the lift tomorrow Updated on 21 Feb 2019: Day 2 after my shower. I’m a little more swollen than I was yesterday but feel pretty good! Super tired and my back hurts from laying around too much. Keeping in the pain meds every 4 hours but I hope to start weaning off them on the weekend. So far I’m quite pleased! I love my curvy hips Updated on 1 Mar 2019: Well I’m at 10 days post op and have had NO real issues! I’ve had some swelling in my tummy but mostly when I’ve done too much. My skin is SUPER itchy and I’ve been getting what feels like small shocks long my stomach incision. Scared me at first as I thought a stitch had let go but its nerves regenerating. My breasts are settling nicely. I far they seem to be dropping evenly. I still have upperpole AND both nipples “work”. I’ll be taking the steri strips off today and tomorrow. I tried this morning and one bled a little. A quick call into Dr Hassels office and my mind is at ease. Such a wonderful clinic!!! Updated on 4 Mar 2019: 2weeks post op and feeling pretty good. I get tired still and find sitting too long uncomfortable. Breast’s are looking great! They seem to be settling at the same rate. Some parts of my incisions are so fine they look months old, not weeks. My skin is super itchy so I need to be careful I don’t scratch a scab off! I’m loving my tummy! I didn’t think a mini tuck would make such a difference but it really has. I can’t wait to ditch this binder. I found a cheap way to stop the binder from rubbing on the incision. Cheap pantyliners stuck together end to end and taped on. Then I can put the binder on... no rubbing! Updated on 8 Mar 2019: 17 days post op and I can really see changes. My implants are settling really nice an feel more like boobs, not rocks. My incisions look fabulous and only a few scabs left and I’m noticing my tummy isn’t bloating as much! I’m finally able to roll over on my side to sleep. I’m definitely less tired but sitting too long isn’t great. I find my stomach feels tighter when I stand. I found a GREAT bra on Amazon!!! It sits low and doesn’t aggravate the incisions at all! 10/10. Highly recommend it!!! Updated on 15 Mar 2019: Had a small setback this week. Have a tiny opening under my right breast. Dr thinks it’s skin glue that hasn’t dissolved. I emailed a picture and he got right back to me and said not to pick it out and put polysporin on it and cover it. Been doing it a few days and still don’t see a lot of difference. I’ll call agin Monday if still no improvement. I’m still loving my results though! Love my new boobs! So perky and full but still look super natural! They’re still a little sore but that’s normal I think. My tummy feels fabulous! When he did my TT he lifted my mons area. I didn’t even realize how bad I sagged “there”! I still swell sometimes and sometimes it’s pretty bad. My incision is totally closed and very thin. I’ve been given the go ahead to use bio oil. I’m still in the binder but will be switching to spanx next week. If I swell, I’ll go back to the binder. Overall I love my new body... except now I hate my thighs!! Haha maybe my next procedure??? Updated on 18 Mar 2019: I have a stitch popping out in the vertical section just below my nipple. It’s very small but it’s definitely a stitch. So far it hasn’t opened. No pus/drainage. I’ve been washing it in the shower and putting polysporin on and covering it. I’ve read some people pull them? Or do i wait to see if it works it’s way out? What do I do if it splits? ALSO Yesterday I started to feel a lot of pain in the left side of my tummy incision. A burning sharp pain. When I touch the incision it stings but it doesn’t look any different. There’s no oozing and just a little increased redness. I put polysporin on this as well. I noticed this morning that there is a lump to the left of this spot. It’s definitely more raised and more prominent the rest of my incision. If I move too much it’s very sore. I have a call into the Dr so hopefully this is just minor!!! Updated on 24 Mar 2019: 33 days post op and I’m LOVING my new body. I’m far from perfect but my results have been beyond what I’d expected. PLUS I am 51 so I can’t expect to be Barbie :) I have developed a small infection in my left breast. I called as soon as I noticed any redness and got on antibiotics. It’s the same area where I had a stitch poke though. The stitch had retracted before this so maybe when it did, something got in and caused an issue. I didn’t have a fever, the area was not hot, just red. It hasn’t spread at all so I’m just keeping a close eye on it and will call again if there’s no improvement. I do kinda wish I’d gotten bigger implants now that they have settled but I wanted them to look natural and I really think they do. I have full feeling everywhere on my breasts and nipples and my incisions are totally closed and so thin!!! The results I’ve gotten from a mini tummy tuck is beyond good. I’m still feeling quite tight but love my waist. I wish I’d gotten more lipo in the hip area but it could be swelling. I’m going to address this with him when I see him at 8 weeks PO. I MAY see if we can do a little more and possibly my thighs. My incision looks unreal. Smoothing out more and more each day. It’s very fine. I’m still numb around the incision but am getting small electric shock feelings and tingling so I think that my nerves are repairing. I did have an issue with an inner stitch but even that is looking better. I still swell a fair bit and wear my binder or spanx during the day but don’t sleep with either on. All in all... this is the best decision I’ve ever made for ME. I’d do it again in a heartbeat. If you’re on the fence, I say do it. The recovery sucks but in the end it’s worth it :) Updated on 11 Apr 2019: Well it seems like it’s been along haul! 7 weeks post op and I’m doing pretty good! My tummy still swells quite badly from time to time especially if I’ve ate badly and have been busy on my feet all day. If I do swell I just put my binder back on and it goes away. I still have stretch marks and some fat lol BUT I I’d just get a mini tuck because he didn’t have the excess skin to pull more unless I’d be ok with a vertical scar where my belly button was. I didn’t want that and I didn’t want my bellybutton moved. He told me after he’d only removed 900gr of skin and fat on my lower tummy and about 300gr fat with lipo of my upper tummy (no MR needed). My mons area was definitely lifted but I think it looks way better! I wanted to be able to have my clothes fit me better (which they do when I’m not swollen). I’m not planning on wearing any belly shirts in my future so I’m good with my tummy. I’m starting to work out again so I’m hoping I learn to love my thighs!!! Wow do they seem huge now. I’ve always had thick thighs but now they seem very big! I’m asking him about lipo in about 6 months if I’m not still not liking them. My boobs are definitely better than before but I’m surprised with how much they have settled! I definitely could’ve gone bigger but then would they have just sagged more? These are “mine” plus 240cc implants. They feel and look VERY real which is what I told him I wanted. My nipples are HYPER sensitive to the point I’m wearing pads over my nipples so the world doesn’t think I’m cold!!! Haha!!! They look great in a nice bra. My scars are really amazing. Very thin and already fading. I’m using bio oil but not as regularly as I should be. There’s still numb spots but the feeling is slowly coming back. All in all... I’m very happy with my results and think I look pretty good for my age. :) Updated on 8 May 2019: 11 weeks post op and things are pretty good. The numbness and tingling in my tummy incision seems to be going away. It’s still red but very thin. My breast incisions are good but my right is definitely better. I’m using bio oil but I’m not sure if it’s working. I’ve ordered NewGel+ and am going to see if that’s better I’m still swelling occasionally. If I’ve eaten badly it’s worse. I’ve worn my binder a few times to help reduce it. I love the shape of my breasts but I am shocked by how much the implant settled. I definitely could have gone bigger and may end up doing that in the long run Over all I’m still loving the new me. :)
I've always had a decent sized chest at a 36C and when I got pregnant with my first I went up to a 34DD, back down and back up again with my second pregnancy. I breastfed for a total of 27 months between my two kids which left me with some sag and a sad, deflated, breast shape. I spent three years researching and booked a few consultations in my area, ultimately deciding on Dr. Hassel due to his experience, great reviews and my one on one consultation. I decided to write a review on my experience because there isn't a lot of information on this double procedure (augmentation and mastopexy) for surgeons in my area and this site has been so helpful to me. Time to give back! I had my surgery on August 31, 2017 and had 365 (right) and 385 (left) moderate plus profile silicone implants with an anchor lift. I'm on day 3 of recovery and feel good so far, there's some pain and if I do too much I definitely feel it, but I have a fairly high pain tolerance and the 30mg of codeine I'm on is helping me through the worst of it. They are really swollen and sitting high for now so I'm impatient to see what they'll look like in a few weeks from now!! So far I'm really happy with the size and am glad they'll get a little smaller once the swelling subsides and they drop. Updated on 4 Sep 2017: I'm starting to wean off the pain killers today and see how I do, I'll probably still take them at night to help me sleep. I still see a lot of assymetry between my left (bigger) and right breasts so I'm just trusting that my surgeon knew what he was doing and they'll even out over time. The incisions in the left side look angrier and my nipple is still more swollen and puffy in that side, but I haven't experienced any of the incisions leaking so I'll call that a win :)
