Overall rating

I had a rhinoplasty roughly 8 years ago with Dr. Lee. I am young, Asian, female for reference. I have Dr. Lee 2 stars because he's a nice Doctor, and he had a lot of deal with. My nose had a hump, droopy tip, was crooked, and lacked any kind of sculpted look. It wasn't awful but I compared it to a lump of clay just smacked onto my face. Dr. Lee corrected the hump, gave me a stint from my ear and used it to correct the drooping tip, and a bit of the crookedness was improved. However, the surgery left me with the tell tale sign of botched rhino: poly beak. And it was still really crooked, and my tip was hard and boullous (and unattractive). I was very unhappy and I also came to learn a had a deviated septum (my whole life) that he had a chance to correct but ignored. During my couple post ops Dr. Lee gave me some cortisone shots I requested because the tip would not go down in swelling even after 2 years. I ultimately had to get a revision to address the deviated septum and the crookedness (my nostrils were pointing every which way), by another Doctor. And thankfully that did improve my breathing (tremendously), and the poly beak. Ultimately, I wish I had gone with another surgeon. One who took the time would have seen I had a deviated septum over our few pre ops and during the operation. And in my case, because my nose was so so bad to start, I wish I had gone with someone who maybe had a little more finesse to fix every issue not just a couple.
