As you can see in my before photo I strongly believed my neck was not proportional to the rest of me. My father and my brother also have similar necks where fat is stored. Definitely genetics.

Completed Results
My thinned out neck and under jawline framw my face in such a different way it's honestly shocking. Many of my friends, including my husband, had no idea what a difference a procedure like this could do for my appearance.

ORIGINAL POST
Dr. Hodge is amazing. I had a fantastic first consultation where I was informed about everything concerning my smart lipo procedure. Dr. Hodge and his staff answered every question. The day of my procedure everything went perfectly. I healed exactly as he said I would and followed his after care instructions to achieve the best results. Numbing and swelling have gone down almost entirely within three months. I was concerned bout "lumpy" scar tissue appearing post surgery, but massaging it while applying moderate pressure has made it completely smooth out.

How long did you have to wear the compression garment? Were you able to go back to work right away?

November 25, 2017
I had to wear the compression garment 24/7 for 1 week then only during the night for the next two or three weeks. I didn't work at the time, but I believe I could go back to work after that first week.

The head garment had to be worn 24/7 during the first week and just over night during the second and third week. You would absolutely be able to go to work after the first week of healing.

Did you continue to see improvement/ results for the following 3months or was it right after your procedure that you saw the result? Also when did you start massaging the area?

I saw immediate results as soon as coming home from the procedure. I had 100cc's removed (combo of fat and fluid that was injected during procedure, but a lot none the less). Every week I could see improvements as the swelling and fluid subsided. I was left with lumps of fat that did worry me at first, but massaging them during a shower or before bed drastically helped.
MAJOR TIP: I do own a "body wand" that plugs into an outlet and using that with cetaphil or a facial moisturizer would help make knots or fat deposits disappear within minutes.
I believe I was told to begin massaging after I had my three, single stitches removed (one under each ear lobe and one under my chin) a week post op. I continued to massage the areas for a few weeks I believe and the lumps completely disappeared. I followed my doctor's recommendations for post op care EXACTLY and everything turned out perfectly.
I thought I saw complete results after the three months, but I believe it just continued to look better continually up to about six months. I can post a current photo if you would like. Hope this helps!
