WORTH IT$675
I lived in Florida for 8 years and while I wore sunscreen all the time on my face, I neglected the rest of my body. Since I have turned 40, the sun spots just keep appearing. I have had two Excel V 15 minute treatments and one Excel V 45 minute treatment. The two 15 minute treatments were done last year on my face. I had one large sunspot by my hair line and one on my right cheek and a few light ones on my left cheek. The first two 15 minutes treatments almost completely erased the large sunspot by my hairline and one my cheek. However, this past summer I played beach volleyball and while I wore sunscreen it still caused the cheek one to become prominent again. Won't be doing that again! For the 45 minute treatment, I had them start on my face and work their way down my body. She treated as many as she could (plenty to choose from-trust me) which include my neck, décolletage, upper and lower arms, legs. The sunpots darken for about 1-2 weeks and then "fall off". I feel it is better to do this treatment in the winter when you can cover your skin to hide the dark spots and to keep them protected from the sun. The pictures included show the sunspots after they are darkened. I tried to take a before picture, but the lighting was not allowing the sunspots to show. Some spots are stubborn and take more than one treatment, others I notice were gone after the first treatment. The total cost above is what I have paid so far for two 15 minute treatments and one 45 minute treatment. I will be continuing to do this procedure probably for a very long time. This is a great treatment for isolated spots as it really nails them. I am thinking for all my lighter spots that the laser can not grab there may be a better alternative.

This is now almost 2 months post treatment. While various spots diminished others showed no change. However, I know from previous treatments sometimes it takes 2-3 times to get some of the stubborn ones. However, the one on my cheek showed very little change this time and I even went back to check with the clinic. I believe it is because the laser is not grabbing the spot. Since this one bothers me the most, I will attempt some other form of treatment.

You did not mention how much you spent on these treatments

The price I paid is listed above. I had my whole body done and my face done twice so far, so it has been $675

Do you have any updated pictures after the spots fell off?

I just added another of my chest, my legs are going to have to be hit again as the spots are really stubborn there. I have had a couple of spots on my arms that I have had to hit twice with the laser.

Keep in mind this laser target individual sunspots. I am going to try IPL next to do a large area to see how that works.
