It is almost 7 weeks PO. I feel so much better. At about 6 weeks PO I started to feel more like myself. The change is really great. The pain is almost non existent. I am still in my compression sleeves, I was asked to wear them for 6 weeks, and I didn't get them on until 2 weeks PO, so I'm almost done. The scars are healing really well.
I'll update next week after talking to Daisy from the doctors office. I am excited for her to see how great everything is looking.

Finally adding pictures. See the 3 and 4 week shots. Still sore and swollen, but glad to be out of the tape. Still wearing the compression sleeves. They feel good. Will update again soon.

Thank you for adding photographs. Overall it seems like you are doing very well. The superficial separations will heal over the next two-three weeks. Please continue to keep in close communication with us ( I am in the office most afternoons if you have questions/concerns). I look forward to seeing you and your husband, if/when you are in Southern California. Thank you again. Tom J Pousti M.D.

I will post more pictures tomorrow. My incisions looks great. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I know some of the pictures look horrible, but please don't worry anyone.......they get better with time and compression garments. It's worth the ugliness for a few weeks, and I can't believe the change in such a short time.

Did you have any problems with stitches coming out etc? My PS did an awesome tummy tuck on me but said arms are the hardest for healing due to moving arms, sweating etc he wants to just do lipo but I really need the whole thing I think

Thanks for the information so far, I practice yoga 3x week plus Pilates and am not looking forward to putting it on hold while I recover from a LBL, BL and arm lift in October!
I thought I would start with Pilates first, and work my way back into Vinyasa flow and Hot yoga. I just went to Pilates this week. I was/am sore today, but feel good. I had been out of Yoga/Pilates for almost 5 months. (I had broken my foot just before Christmas.....on crutches with no weight on my foot for 7 weeks then had my operation) So you can imagine that I lost all of my muscle tone. I was surprised how my body remembered the poses in Pilates though, and know everything will come back.
I did go to the gym as soon as my surgeon said it was ok to do that, starting on the bike, then the treadmill (walking then jogging slowly) then elliptical, then some weight machines before getting back into the yoga/Pilates practice. I will go to my second Pilates class tonight and am looking forward to it. They were all glad to see me back, and excited for me about my surgery.
Putting exercise on hold is never fun, especially when it's in your routine, but please follow your doctors advice about exercise. I would be a shame to ruin all his hard work by jumping in to something too quickly, not to mention how sore you would be. Take care and I'm sure your surgery is a successful as mine!
