Hoping for That Kardashian Shape! - Salt Lake City, Utah

Again... Super swollen, and none of my other fit, but my shape looks really good so far. Even more of an hourglass than I expected. My butt is rock hard and really high, but again, I'm not worried about it because of my edema.

I made it! My surgery came and went, and I am so pleased with Dr. Yates and his staff. Everyone in the office was friendly, helpful, and helped put me at ease before the surgery. They even had a nice room for my boyfriend to wait while I was under.

The night of the surgery was miserable....I felt fine afterward, but once the anesthesia wore off, I felt like I had been hit by a truck. Today, things aren't so bad. I'm sore and stiff, and my lower back hurts from being on my tummy so much, but everything is tolerable.

As for my results, my overall shape looks great, I just look really big because of the swelling. I am completely swollen everywhere...even areas that were not lipo'd seem to have grown. I can't wait for the swelling to go down, so I can get into my regular clothes.

So far, so good!

I'm one week away and I'm starting to get really excited! On Wednesday the 19th, I'll be headed into Dr. Yates' office for my pre-op, then my surgery will be scheduled for in the afternoon on the 24th.

I'm taking two weeks off of work, and have my mom and boyfriend staying with me during my recovery. So far I'm the most concerned about sleeping on my stomach. I have neck issues as it is and get headaches from twisting my neck when I sleep on my tummy. Any suggestions from vets?
