I've always had arms that were disproportionate to my body, maybe except when I was pregnant...they looked proportionate then????. I am 5'2" 130-33 lbs and I am 2 months shy of turning 40. 39 has been quite the year, and I'm not even 2.5 weeks postop from a Breast augmentation but I decided to have coolsculpting on my arms while I head back to my ps office to have my steri-strips removed.

My husband thinks I've gone crazy but he knows once I get something in my head...it's pretty much going to happen so he reluctantly agreed, and is happy that I'm heading back to see my ps for my postop.
I was considering getting traditional lipo during my BA but I read that those 2 procedures are not commonly done together, so I decided that I would get the BA and workout my arms as a compromise but even with all the exercise they are still thick and I'm afraid they will get more toned but still big.
One doctor I met with told me he really didn't think I needed it and thought that exercise alone would get rid of the fat... Although it made me feel good for a bit I knew I would get something done just wasn't sure what....
I had at one point last summer looked in to coolsculpting but there wasn't much info on arms just yet probably because the cool fit applicator was very new and not many people had posted much about their results. So from everything I've read a realistic expectation is 20-25% fat loss and that would be awesome. When I had a bbl the ps did lipo on my upper bra fat but when my arm is down and relaxed at my side like the pic I'm attaching my arms look like huge wrestler arms...

I have at least 2 beach vacations planned for this spring and summer so I'm super excited to not be so embarrassed about my arms. A few of my coworkers are really excited to track my results on this procedure since a few of them are like me... Disproportionate arm fat... Bat wings etc... So we will see!

Excited to see your results! I have those dreaded wrestler arms (inherited from my grandmother and mother) and I'm considering the CS procedure myself.

I will post pics today, I think I see a difference!

Day of treatment

I did it, now to be patient is the challenge!

Let me start off by saying that things did not go as planned today... My flight was delayed by 2 hours and I knew that I was already going into a tight schedule so I made a few panic calls and emails but I knew it was too early to reach anyone so I text the dr's personal cell which I had from my surgery paperwork and he responded right away told me that they'd make it work. Then Lindsay the coolsculpting technician emailed me as well not to worry they'd make it work...

Once I got to SLC getting my rental car Took forever... And I think I need to come to terms with the fact that I probably wouldn't survive in a big city anymore... Everyone tells me I drive like an old lady now, actually old ladies have told me that and it's true, I do!

Once I got to the office they made it all better :) Lindsay, Dr. Yates, the staff at the front desk were all awesome...like always. This time they even fed me!

So about the procedure itself, it was actually not as bad as I thought. The initial pinch was harsh but Lindsay talked me through it/distracted me and then it was really not bad after that. And to be completely honest I'm a wimp...

The second arm was actually more painful and uncomfortable then the first arm, but after the massage she does afterwards, it really was gone after 5 minutes or so.

I'm actually writing this review on my iPad notes while flying, and I really have no pain. I do have bruising though, maybe tomorrow will be different.

But for now I think the advertisement about no downtime and getting back to whatever within an hour is 100% accurate.

As far as the delivery of the service well I have nothing but great things to say about Lindsay, she is awesome, actually got to learn a little bit more about her, she brought me lunch and turned on a movie for me and that made time go by really fast.

As far as it working, I think it will, I saw some amazing results from her client reviews. And if I achieve the 20-25% reduction I will be thrilled.

Here is a pic I snapped during the procedure... I was pretty tempted to snap a pic of my scars from the BA and send it to my husband but then I figured out I needed both hands for that :).

Could it really work this fast??? :)

Okay so patience is not one of my virtues! I was really trying not to measure my arms because everything I've read indicates that results won't show until 2 weeks post... But I started looking at my arms earlier today and they seemed smaller... But then I thought that was only because right after the procedure they seemed swollen. Well curiosity got the best of me so I measured and to my surprise they are exactly 1cm smaller!!!!

I had measured them exactly one week before CS.

Lindsay the tech mentioned that I could apply compression so that's exactly what I did. I couldn't find any at the store so I just cut the end off some snug socks and that worked perfect! I think doing this has also helped with minor discomfort/numbness.

Other then the occasional bump or trying to pullover a shirt it has been pretty painless. The bruising is also almost gone.
I'm too lazy to take pics now but will at one week post.

This 1cm improvement is really promising!

What about the extra skin after sculpture?
March 26, 2015
I think it depends. I didn't really have extra skin just extra fat :). I've read that for some people it actually helps retract the skin
