I took almost 2 years to find the best doctor to have my surgery with and that I would feel like it was the right one. I took so long due to being scared of the surgery procedure and afraid of not liking the over real result.
I searched and consulted with the "top" doctors of the area I live at (UTAH) based on reviews from realself and other websites, and none of them was TOP as Dr York Yates, he was very attentive to details or had a Vectra 3D imaging system like Dr. York Yates.
Dr. York Yates actually CARES for his patients before, during and after surgery unlike other doctors. His staff is amazing (anesthesiologist, front desk, nurse, you name it...and they care just as much too! Dr. Yate's office gives you VIP treatment and will answer any questions you have.
SURGERY REVIEW:
I had my surgery on the 27th of August under sedation and not general anesthesia, which is 10x better and what made me feel a lot safer. It was under the muscle with 305cc Right and 325cc Left with round, textured silicone implants. I was under minimal pain, although I am 22 years old, 5'3 and 130lb and have not breast fed which makes my muscles tighter. Dr. Yates gave me pain meds to help with any pain I had and also they provided a post op surgical bra.
For each person can be different, but the feeling most people describe is as if they have an elephant sitting on them (which is impossible to think since its not common to have an elephant sitting on you). So, the feeling I had when I woke up from surgery was if I had worked out my chest a lot and had that normal pain muscle after a good work out. I was medicated and feeling good to be the passenger of a good 45 min drive back home.
The surgery went through smoothly and the procedure was done perfectly, I was nervous before the surgery for no reason. I went back to the Dr's office the next day to have them check on me, as normally requested.
During recovery Dr. York Yates provides his personal cell phone # to his patients, I texted Dr. York Yates to ask about a medicine I was taking and he replied to the text momentarily.
POST OP:
I am 3 weeks post OP, and I am feeling a million bucks. Before surgery I had a slight difference in breast sizes and now they look similar and I couldn't be more happy with the results.
Dr. York Yates is the recommended doctor for breast augmentation, you wont regret.
