I heard about the BBL from this site just after I had a breast lift/reduction back in March. I spoke to my surgeon about the BBL during a post op appt. for my breasts. He advised a safe waiting period, and I was scheduled for May 2nd. On surgery day, my husband and I arrived at the Dr. Office and we're greeted by his staff (which are wonderful), I was prepared for the procedure, and then lights out! I don't remember anything until I was already home. It was very painful, I was oozing fluids, and couldn't do much.
I had great family support(husband, mom, and adult daughter). I needed them. It took a few days for the oozing of fluids to stop. When I changed my dressings and showered, I really needed the help to get back into the garment and properly place the foam. The first few days were the worst. I couldn't sleep in my own bed, which is very soft. I slept much better on the couch. By the 7th things improved dramatically, I was only taking 1/2 a pain pill in the middle of the night. I had a post op appt. on the 9th. My doctor, York Yates, was very pleased with my progress. I was a little worried because I'm 5'1 with a small build- I wanted a rounded behind, not a huge one (which is what I had). Within a few days a lot of the swelling went down, I haven't taken any pain meds. since the 9th. and am feeling great. Staying off my butt is a little difficult, but doable. My greatest moment was yesterday, I decided to try on a bikini...OMG, awesome... I can't believe how amazing it looks. Dr. Yates didn't just give me a behind, but he gave my formally straight figure CURVES. I'm speechless, and loving how I look. My only concern now is that I'm still in process. I don't want to lose very much more. Praying hard that the new curves stay. ????

Provider Review
Dr. Yates is and knowledgeable and skilled physician. He's not just a trained doctor, but he's a gifted plastic surgeon. He's an artist at what he does. His office staff is exceptional and only adds to the total experience. I feel blessed to be going experiencing this life changing journey with them.
