Dr. Chao and all of his staff are wonderful. I spent over 18 months reviewing, meeting and researching plastic surgeons. After years of working in the medical field and for a local hospital, I understand the importance of thoroughly researching any medical professional from their education to current positions and anything that could possibly lurk in OIG files. Dr. Chao is the most educated, trained, practiced and highly regarded plastic surgeon in upstate New York. Harvard educated, head of reconstructive/plastic surgery for the region’s leading hospital, Albany Medical Center and voted Best Plastic Surgeon, his office stands alone at the top.
Dr. Chao and Becky Herrica P.A. Are an unbelievable team whether it’s been injections (preformed by P.A. Herrica) or in office surgical procedures they preform together, I’ve been phenomenally happy with the results. I’ve been in their care for two years (and under their knives and needles), and expect to be a patient for many years to come.
It’s worth mentioning that Dr. Chao and Becky Herrica have created a clinical environment that is warm, friendly, comfortable and never imposing or intimidating.
In my multiple encounters with them both I’ve never walked in or out of that office feeling badly about myself, my looks or my body. At every turn they’ve been compassionate, gentle and focused on the best outcome for me as their patient not their financial bottom line. They have opted to go slow and methodical in order to achieve optimum results even when doing so was clearly not in their best interest time wise or financially. That is an unbeatable standard of care, rarely found in any discipline of medicine.
I’ve turned down offers of heavily discounted services to try other providers/Doctors, I would never go anywhere else. When you’re making decisions about medical care, whether it’s internal or externally focused the team providing that care matters more than any other single factor. Education, technique, the newest trusted/better technology and patient care are synonymous with Dr. Chao, Becky Herrica PA and the rest of the staff. Never go anywhere else.
