No more dry eye

Somegirl123
WORTH IT$4,000
My eyes finally feel completely normal. I have no lingering side effects, I can see sharply from a distance, my eyes don’t really get dry anymore and most of my popped blood vessels have FINALLY disappeared, except for one last spot that is too stubborn to go away! I must have moved too much during my surgery so I hope some people can learn from me to do your best not to get nervous and move whatsoever as the result is bloody red eyes for a few weeks haha

Would you be able to tell me if I would have to remove my false lashes for this procedure? Did you have to wear the protective goggles all day everyday for a week? Thank you in advance :)

I think removing them would be safer because they will probably fall off from the operation anyway and you wouldn’t want to risk an eyelash falling in your eye, after 2 weeks you would probably be fine with getting fake eyelashes again though. And no, I only wore the protective goggles all day for the first day, and then the rest of the week I only had to wear them at night so my eyes would be protected while I slept. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

It must be so great to have perfect vision! I've been thinking about doing this for a long time...would love to be able to see when I wake up :-)

5 week mark

Somegirl123
So it’s been 5 weeks since I got Lasik and I thought i would give an update. My vision is perfect now and I am no longer light sensitive. My eyes don’t get as dry anymore so I’m finally feeling comfortable again. My eyes finally almost look normal now besides a small red dot that still hasn’t been absorbed yet.

One month mark

Somegirl123
So it’s been one month since I did lasik, and everything has been going smoothly so far. My eyesight is really good but sometimes my eyes get really dry making it hard to focus. I have to use artificial tears 2+ times a day and will do so until my 3 month mark at the least. I won’t see my doctor again until the 3 month mark as well, but he said everything is good and healing well. Still have 2 more months until my eyes heal completely and hopefully won’t be so dry anymore . I still have some redness in my eyes but it is minimal. I must have had a lot of popped blood vessels as I thought my eyes would have cleared up 2-3 weeks after, but unfortunately did take a bit longer than expected. However it is just cosmetic and doesn’t signify any real issues.
