I went to see Dr. Hankins after my results from a mini TT (done by a different doctor) didn't turn out how I would have liked them too. My previous doctor told me all I needed was a little cool sculpting to get rid of the upper tummy pooch I still had. This just didn't seem right to me because I had been working out really hard and NOTHING was getting rid of the stubborn pooch. I then decided to go hunting for a new doctor to get more opinions on my situation. That's when I found Dr. Hankins!
I found out that the reason I was never getting the flat stomach I wanted was because my muscle was never repaired since I only got the mini TT to begin with. I really wish my original doctor would have let me know that I was in need of more then just a mini. After getting all my options laid out to me for the results I was looking for I needed to go with the full TT and I decided to get some laser lipo done on my love handles and saddle bags. I ended up scheduling my surgery for a few weeks later. My pre op appointment went extremely smooth. They take all you labs in office which was great.
The surgery went on without a hitch. Now I'm going to get into more details on how I felt after the surgery. One word "Ouch"!! It wasn't bad enough though that I couldn't or didn't want to walk around. I'm super active being a single mom of three kids so there was no real choice for me on laying around. I think the absolute worst part was the drains. They make life hell putting it mildly. I was only able to get one drain out at a time since I'm constantly on the go. I could have kissed Bambie when she took the last drain out. I need to talk about Bambie for a second. She is one of the most genuine caring people I have ever met. I wanted to stuff her in my purse and take her home with me. She is the icing on the cake at this place. Back to my recovery..... I'm a few days past my six week mark and I'm feeling great. The scar is healing up so much better from the first time. It's a few inches longer on either side but it was totally worth it to me. I do have one of the dreaded dog ears on my right hip but Dr. Hankins said to give it a few more weeks of healing. Once it's done healing he's going to do a revision on the dog ear if it's needed. I feel so much more confident in my skin now.
I will try and get some before and after pictures rounded up to post.

Provider Review
Dr Hankins is an honest and caring Doctor. I will be going to him for all future work that I get done. When I first walked into his office I felt right at home. Everyone greets you with a smile and a hello. They took me right back to the room and Dr. Hankins was in within a couple of minutes. We discussed a lot of different options and he NEVER acted like I was taking up too much of his time. He answered every question I had with an honest answer (no sugar coating). I really appreciated the honesty!!
