Prior to my appointment, I spoke to 3 other Cosmetic Surgeons and they had a different perspective on the Lifestyle Lift. They didn’t have any positive things to say about the Surgeons or procedures, so I never considered the Lifestyle Lift. I soon realized that the Lifestyle Lift takes business away from the basic Cosmetic Surgeon, so they’re losing business & money, so it became clear to me and finally made sense for their negative opinions. Who would you want to work on your face…a face specialist/ ‘Lifestyle Lift Surgeon’ or a basic Surgeon that does procedures and might not have a facial surgery for weeks; the decision was easy for me!
My 2 problem areas: Turkey neck and jowls, so I knew these were 2 specialties for the Lifestyle Lift. They do offer other easy procedures, but neither of mine were easy. It took 2 hours and I was told that I would be off work for at least 1 week. That was in line with what I had been told by other Surgeons, so the only difference was…it cost less money since they have their own on-sight Surgical Facility and local anesthesia is used; no Anesthesiologist is required, so both factors saved me a lot of money!
In my opinion, I think the infomercials and all the marketing they do to promote the Lifestyle Lift does a dis-service to them. They sound artificial and the before & after pics look too staged. BTW, my before pics were worse than the ones they took and they didn’t have me make any unusual face or sit in any position to make my before & after pics different…they were real and showed a huge/true difference.
