I had a chin implant procedure, without lipo from Dr. Lanfranchi, and I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone considering the types of procedures he does. Here’s a couple of reasons why:
1) EXPERIENCE. Unlike some Doctors who perform all kinds of plastic surgery procedures, Dr. Lanfranchi specializes in facial surgeries. When I was doing my research about how to pick a plastic surgeon, every article I read said to find someone who is board certified and has lots experience. So the face is what Dr. Lanfranchi does all day every day, and he is very good at it. When I looked at his book of patients, all of the results were subtle and natural looking.
2) LOCAL ANESTHESIA. All of his procedures are done with a local anesthesia, rather than a general anesthesia where they put you completely under. There are so many benefits to this: I felt safer not being completely knocked out; I was relatively alert and “normal” feeling only a few hours following the procedure; and even though I was awake during the procedure, I felt zero pain or discomfort while it was happening, and I was very relaxed because of the oral sedative they give you ahead of time.
3) PRICING. Dr. Lanfranchi already offers competitive pricing and specials. But because he uses a local anesthesia he is able to perform the procedures in-house. This means you the patient save on paying for a surgery center and an anesthesiologist.
4) KINDNESS AND PROFESSIONALISM. The Dr. and his staff are all kind and professional people. I dealt with AJ and D.D. and both of them were very nice and down-to-earth and made me feel comfortable from my first consult up through my procedure. Dr. Lanfranchi, too, is extremely personable and kind. During my consults, I felt that he really listened to my concerns and wishes about the results I was trying to achieve.
