I'm still very happy with my results.
I'm a mother of 2 after my second child I decided we were done having kids and I was going to loose my baby weight (75 lbs) by making a lifestyle change of eating right and working out.
After 2 years of yoyo dieting I still lost 40 lbs but couldn't get the rest off, I started calorie counting using a phone app, lose it, and continued going to my Zumba class 3 days a week and weight lifting another 3 days a week, I used another phone app, stronglifts 5x5, because its easy and fun, with 1 day rest.
I finally lost all the weight and was down to my goal weight. After nursing two kids and loosing 75 lbs. I desperately needed volume, and the skin just hung like deflated balloons so after 3 consults I was in definite need of a lift and implants (I only wanted to do implants to avoid the cost of a lift and the scars, I was so nervious about the scars) I chose to go with a lift based on the doctor I felt had the most experience and best before and after pictures.
I was going back and forth between silicone and saline and ultimately decided that the current generation of silicone is very safe and the warranties are amazing. I really wanted the Sientra implant and was set on that. I was an A and used to be a C so wanted to be a full D.
Unfortunately at my pre-op I learned that for some reason Sientra was unavailable until an unknown date, so I had the choice of the Natrelle or Mentor Implants. I chose the Mentor because I believe they have been around since early implants and have the same warranty with the option of purchasing an even better coverage than sientra.
Now the choice between moderate plus or high profile. To get the size I wanted this is what was recommended to me. It was really confusing and I couldn't decide and after reading so many stories of woman wanting bigger after their surgery, I went with the 500cc high profile implants.
After my surgery They were really high, I was assured they would drop eventually. I did get an open wound after a month which slightly slowed my recover, and even after two months my scars looked great! I'm happy to say 3-4 months after surgery, like everyone said, they did drop and settle and I couldn't be happier, I can hide them in higher neck shirts and I think no one notices, but finding a swim suit has been super hard, I feel like I'm revealing my big fake boobs and I can't be around my dad or grandma that way, haha, I feel sexy and confident around my husband but want to hide them still outside of my house.
Will try to post before and after pictures soon. Please message me with any questions.
