My friend who has been living in Vegas had her boobs done after her coworker had hers done and was back to work in one week and they looked great and they’re both Asian- I.e. modest and the implants fit their small frame very well.
They both had zero complications and highly recommended their surgeon Dr. Hankins from Hankins & Sohn Plastic Surgery.
I went to the other surgeon in the practice; Dr. Sohn, he was absolutely fantastic. He took his time to go over all of my questions, explain the procedure, the risks and to ensure I could achieve realistic expectations.
I did my research and initially wanted the teardrop shaped gummies through the nipple under the muscle, a natural looking size so about a full b small c at the largest.
They informed me that there is a small risk of the shaped implant rotating and if that happens it needs to be surgically amended, which would also be out of pocket and because the implant is stiffer than round implants it would have to go through under the breast fold.
Dr. Also told me that with a smaller implant, under the muscle, it will have a teardrop effect and they can also do something with the muscle surgically to enhance the teardrop shape further.
My final decision was a moderate profile round gummy bear silicone implant size 375cc under the muscle and through the nipple. Trying the implant on with the bra for the first time made it seem huge and I first opted for size 330cc but then drove back later that day to try on again and the nurse told me that you lose some size when they are implanted because the muscles act like a sports bra and pull them in a bit. Essentially she told me that if I wanted the look of 330cc to go with the 360cc implant size.
Decided what the heck and go just a smidge bigger and went with the 375cc moderate profile which is as large as you can go in implant size for the moderate profile implants.
After leaving the surgeons office I actually called back and asked if I could go to 390cc but they told me the next size up from 375cc would be 405cc and a high profile implant.
A bit more about me: I’m 5ft 6 in. 145lb, 32in. Chest, not a full b/c cup, I was a small c but lost volume and went down to a small b. My goal was to fill in, have cleavage and to look natural. I live part time in San Francisco and part in Hawaii and the price of implants in both cities are much more expensive, I.e. 6500-8000 and I haven’t seen the most natural results I was looking for. I chose Dr. Sohn in Vegas because I’ve seen his results and they were fantastic and the price was great.
I’m one week post op and I’m so happy I went a little bigger. I’ve had literally no pain,
Only slight discomfort the first few days when trying to reach for something and the first day it was as if I couldn’t find the right position to sit down.
The first day post op day after my checkup I went to lunch and then to cvs and was totally fine. Then took my pain pills and went to bed. I did take my pain pills exactly as prescribed because I didn’t wasn’t to risk any pain.
The sensation in my nipples are coming back, dr. Explained that I’ll start feeling some tingling and its because the nerves are re-connecting or something like that.
All in all my total surgery time only took 45 minutes. It’s an hour to prep you, 45- an hour for surgery, then an hour to two hours to wake up and they check that you’re okay. Then you get to leave.
The part I feared the worsrt was the IV and the post-op pain. Both were honestly painless and I could not be happier, I feel complete.
The nurses all told me that if they’re patients have on regret its that they wish they went bigger and I’m so glad I listened to them.
Lastly, I was an out of town patient and my first consultation was by sending in photos to their email and then a phone consultation.
My phone consult was on Friday, my pre-op appointment to chose implants and do body measurements was the following Monday and surgery was set for Wednesday. It all happened so quickly, and I’m ecstatic with the results.

I very highly recommend Dr. Samuel Sohn and his team. They were professional and very accommodating and patient. They called to check in with me the day before and after. Dr. Sohn was very gentle, he advised me on the benefits and negatives of every option, and recommended a size to meet my goal expectation but never pushed me on any decision. I felt very comfortable and very well taken care of by Dr. Sohn and I plan to return for other procedures in the future. I was a little nervous and popped back into the office without calling and they were very accommodating, the service and staff far exceeded my expectations and in my opinion the care I received was far better than what I could have received in San Francisco or Hawaii.
