Almost one month since I got a new smile! I am feeling great! My health and energy have improved so much ! No more daily headaches . Having Dr Golpa and his team perform this procedure was the best decision I made! It was pretty much a breeze. Never experienced any pain. Minor discomfort yes but it is part of
The healing process . I felt almost 100% after one week post op. :)

Are these your perms or these are the temps?? Hard to tell because they look great!
They are the perms. I never had temps. Dr. G
Places the perms next day after surgery
Oh wow!!! EXCELLENT!!
I wanna ask you. When you open your mouth, can you see where the screws go in the bridge through to the implant or does Dr Golpa cover it with something pink so it looks like part of your gums?? With your mouth wide open does it look like an implant procedure had been done??
He does fill in with special material. At the gum line you can see implant procedure if you raise you lip but not when you open mouth around teeth. You cant see anything when you smile wide. To me this has been the best decision I have made. No one can notice anything other than a great smile! Dr. Golpa is also a master at this !
Ok thanks for replying. I just wanted to make sure I have all questions covered. And no hard palate top or bottom?
OreoGal, I had the all on 4 procedure done by Dr. Golpa almost a month ago. Drove all the way from Texas. No hard palate top or bottom. I had a temporary partial in place of my top front four teeth for 18 years and it covered my palate. I really hated that. It's so nice to have my palate back. I think it is so cool to have an outlet like this to talk to folks about the all on 4 procedure, whether it's someone who has already had it done and sharing their experience or someone who's still researching and trying to find out costs, dentists, what to expect, and general info on the procedure itself. I myself came to this site often forget insight etc. This is an expensive procedure. I wanted to know everything I could expect. I must say, Dr. Golpa and his staff will not disappoint. They are so accommodating and everything happened for me just as I had expected, (procedure wise). Dr. Golpa is so skilled at this procedure. It is his craft. Driving 25 hours to have him do this was completely worth it. Good luck with your decision.
Thanks a bunch for your comment. It's good to know that people here are willing to share their experience in detail for all those considering this dentist and this procedure. I was always curious to know the differences between his procedure and the other standard all in fours and wait times. I'm also concerned about esthetics and how natural they would look feel and if they would restore a natural chew and smile. And of course can you do normal intimate stuff like kissing lol. Covering all bases with everthing anyone would normally do if they had a normal healthy smile
I've kissed passionately and it's as if they were my own teeth. I can do with them the same things I did with my natural teeth. Smile and enjoy don't be afraid to kiss have fun lol
Lol, thanks Kentv61 ;)!! Just checking
The kissing part I'm not sure if yet, lol. I've been curious about that too. Chewing is much more natural than I thought it would be. I actually think I get too chew-confident and forget to move my tongue out of the way. I've bitten it more than a few times. As for esthetics, my worst fear was that the teeth were going to look and feel too big. I talked to Dr. Golpa about this, showed him all on 4 "after" pics from the internet of what I thought looked nice to me. I also told him I'd like the teeth to be petite. I trusted his input as well. I think my teeth look natural and I've been told they look natural. We become our own worst skeptics though, lol. My biggest thing is before I had a cheap partial where my front four teeth used to be and the teeth were very small and had worn down over the years, so in my case even if my new teeth are petite in size (and they are) they will look to big for me because I'm used to the tiny teeth that were on the partial. It's something psychological for me that will subside with time. I'm very grateful to have had this done by one of the most talented all on 4 pioneers in the US. I feel very lucky indeed. I think once ALL of the swelling has subsided my face gets back to a more "normal" look, I'll be thrilled to bits. Oh yeah, One more thing I wanted to add...another reason I chose Dr. Golpa is because they use the titanium bar in the arches for added durability. As I was doing my own research I found that that none of other dentists used the titanium bar in their prosthesis. That was a deal breaker for me.
I really really REALLY appreciate all of your personal commentary. It's so important you guys that have been there and done that share your experiences the way you do because it will have a permanent profound impact on us. Cost aside, anything and everything you can share is greatly appreciated. Btw, yours look GREAT!! You smile like a Hollywood star :) love it!!
Clear Choice does the temps!
Then you go back 6 or 7 months later for the perms!
Clear Choice gives you your acrylic temps then at the 6 month time line you get the zirconia permanents. I don't mind this I live a 30 minute drive from Clear Choice you get to work out the kinks with the first set of teeth. For me this worked out the best.
Cool
I have a question since u did your all on 4 with Dr. Golpa u had your permanent teeth put in instead of the temporaries for six months. I have temporaries on so I'm on a soft diet how does it work for you are you on a normal diet ?
Hi I was able to eat the same day they were put on. I didn't have any restrictions. I did drink a lot of smoothies the following three days because I was a bit sore .
For me I intend to continue soft diet for 6 months til it's clear the implants are fusing to the bone. I am diabetic so healing can be slower.
bit I've seen him hand an apple to the patient after their teeth were put in and they could take a bite of it.
I had my work for the all on 4 done with ClearChoice Walnut Creek, CA. I have temporary teeth on my permanent zirconia bridge will be delivered on may 2017. Dr. Golpa' patients get their permanent teeth from the start his process is different.
I'm diabetic too so the process with the temporaries worked out for me.
Just wanna say again that your review along with others I'm totally inspired!!

Hi! You look great! I had my procedure 3 1/2 months ago. I love my teeth and somedays forget their not my original ones. My recovery was very similar to yours but for the most part I have no issues these days. Dr. Golpa is indeed the best of the best! :)
You look great. I had mine done a mponth ago, and I'm very happy with it. The swelling and numbness took a little longer to resolve, but I'm all good now. No pain at all! I'm hoping you'll have a quick recovery!
Thanks! @pinapt
