One Year Update
Well, it has been one year since I have had the G4 All-On-4 Dental Implant procedure done at Dr. Golpa’s office in Las Vegas. I can honestly say, that it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. I still cannot believe how quickly the process was competed. One day for consult, x-rays, scans, extractions and placing the implants and then the permanent bridge placed the very next day, all done within 24 hours. I was back to work just 4 days after that. I had very little pain and very minor swelling and bruising.
I have had no problems with eating anything. Food does get caught between the bridge and the gums when I eat, but I just swish with water or use the water pick if I’m at home.
It is so nice to now have the confidence to smile and talk to people, where before I was always so ashamed of my teeth and felt so self conscious.
If this is something you are thinking about getting done, I’d be happy to answer any questions. I know when I was planning and researching, I relied a lot on this forum to get my information.

Before & After
Just thought I'd post these before and after photos.
It's Been One Week
Well it's been one week since I received my new teeth and I must say that every day is getting better and better. I did not experience much bruising or swelling so I consider myself very lucky that I was able to return to work on the Monday after getting the teeth on Thursday. I am still having lots of trouble speaking and I really hope that it improves because it's very embarrassing. The first week, the teeth felt so tight, like a vice grip in my mouth and I seem to feel it more in the evenings. I was just exhausted when I got home from work from that tight feeling all day. I'm still trying to get used to smiling (which I always did with a closed mouth before). The shape of my mouth, lips and chin have also changed, so I'm trying to get used to that. The new teeth have opened my bite a lot, so I think that my jaw is feeling tired. But, like I said each day is getting better. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!!
