Two Days Post Surgery and I Am Already Thrilled with Results - Las Vegas, NV

I am 45 years old. I am slender and reasonable attractive, but I had noticeable sagging under my chin and jowls beginning to form. My lower face looked at least a decade older than my upper face. Today, two days after my surgery, I have visible bruising and swelling, I am stiff and relying on my pain meds to stay comfortable; but this is exactly what I expected.

The overall results of my surgery are already stunning! The youthful shape of my face is completely restored, my facial expression now reflects the actual emotions I feel, rather than grouchiness and tiredness all the time. I am already sharing "after" photos with family and friends; they are amazed... and I was in no way bad looking before.

I attribute the success of my procedure to the skill of my surgeon and to the fact that the Lifestyle Lift procedure very precisely addressed my particular facial aging issues; I was an excellent candidate for the procedure and my expectations were realistic. Also, I am in very good overall health and I had my work done early in my aging process, so the work required was not extensive.

I recommend my doctor highly and I recommend the Lifestyle Lift procedure for those who are willing to do their research so that they can be certain the Lifestyle Lift is the right procedure for them. There is no on-size-fits-all in cosmetic surgery; but if you are essentially happy with your face, just not so happy about what is happening ~to~ your face as you age, the Lifestyle Lift could be the perfect fit for you.

You look amazing. Where did the doctor make incisions? Under the chin and around the ears?

My healing is exactly on schedule as far as I can tell. I have discontinued my Vicodin in favor of straight acetaminophen. My neck, ears and sides of my face are still swollen and numb, but bruising is not so bad that it cannot be covered with my normal makeup. I am definitely presentable to the public. Bruising on the front of my neck, which was relatively superficial, is greatly diminished. The only discomfort I have is itching around my incisions, as if little bugs are crawling all over my sutures. It's a slightly maddening, but still bearable. As a side note, my somewhat large ears no longer stick out in elf-like fashion, as they used to. I'm not sure if this is due to the surgery or the bandages. A few days will tell. I did not need them fixed, but I look good, so I'm not going to complain either.

You look absolutely stunning and about twenty five.Glad it went well for you. I think LSL is the luck of the draw, and your surgeon seems bright, interested and competent, with a good eye. Yes it's important to see a doctor's work before you commit to something like this. Still, I would want someone with facial surgery credentials. Best of luck.

You look great, Margaret. Good luck with the rest of your healing!

Her doctor DOES have facial surgery credentials; not sure why you ended your comment that way....

No he's an OD- that's an osteopath.

Sorry-correction. A DO(not OD) is an osteopath, a bone doctor.

My friend first went to medical school specializing in ear, nose & throat (otorhinolaryngology). Later became a "facial plastic surgeon". Personally I'd like to have an ENT/otorhinolaryngologist, do my face & am considering the Lifestyle Lift...perhaps by Dr. Lanfranchi.

In mid October, it'll be a year since my surgery. I'm still thrilled with the results. I could not be happier with Dr. Lanfranchi and his staff. In addition to how pleased I was with the procedure itself, I continue to be impressed with how they informed me very well with what the healing process would entail and how long it would take. Everything I've experienced was just as they said it would be; nobody made any effort to sugar coat the discomforts or make it seem like I'd be completely back to normal in a few days. Though the first stages of healing bring about the most dramatic results, the complete healing process takes about a year. So I still have some very minor itching around the incision sites and until recently, I had some lingering numbness around my ears. But these are steadily decreasing at a rate that I expect to feel nothing in a couple months.

I'm very happy with my results. I look completely natural. I saw my sister a few days ago for the first time since my surgery, and she could not tell I'd had anything done, just that I looked "really good!"
