My upper and lower blepharoplasties were performed seven years ago this month. They continue to be worth every penny and the most life-changing procedures I’ve had done. I am very grateful to Doctor Lanfranchi.

Five years post op! Still Thrilled!
Having my eyes done, upper and lower blepharoplasties, continues to be the most dramatic improvement to my face. Even after five years, a life changer!
I do get Botox once in awhile to help fight existing crows feet, but other than that, these procedures are holding up really well!

Looks amazing! Since you mentioned potentially treating the 11s, can I ask if you ultimately did? And if so what procedure did you have?
Hi bk, I got Botox in the 11's and am very happy with the results. The injector I go to is very good, and he did a bit of filler for me today in the slight vertical lines I have about my lip. He said those lines are mostly from sleeping on my side, which I try not to do, lol!
Love all the photos showing the recovery timeline. You can really see your beautiful eyes now. I have a consultation scheduled for a lower bleph, I think I’m finally going for it at age 52.

Suitsmefine I’ve been for my consult, and the doc is an oculofacial plastic surgeon who only does eyes.
He said he doesn’t do fat transfer, he doesn’t believe it’s reliable and the fat can move, disappear and be unpredictable. If there is an area of hollowness 3 months after he will use a filler to smooth or bridge the area.
What is your experience with the fat transfer, did you research this when having your procedure? Thanks!!

Hello, I did not do fat transfer. There were tiny bits of fat under my eyes that were causing the bags, and the surgeon removed these.
I get fillers about once a year in my nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
Suitsmefine thank you for the info. I’ve scheduled the procedure today, it’s 3 months off yet, he has such a waitlist. But so excited I’m finally doing this.
Thanks for posting this! I’ll be 47 this year and had a consult with a surgeon for ptosis repair on both eyes, upper & lower bleph. My insurance has approved the upper lid procedure, lower will be out of pocket. I have a similar face as yours and thus gives me an idea of what I can expect over time. Thank you so much. alls well here, thinking of fixing eyes I should have done 5 years ago with face... could have worse problems however!!!
I am guessing from pics it takes about one month to not be all bruised, and pretty much healed??
Hello, Caliegirl, almost all of the bruising was gone after several weeks. At one month, there was still some residual swelling, but not really noticeable to anyone else.

I had lower bf a month ago; my scars still look like in YOUR pics #57 , 58 (mild bags still showing). Started wondering if they'll ho away.
