Almost 2 years post-op

Here are my boobs almost 2 years after my breast lift! I was 20 years old when I had my surgery, and I’m currently 22. I was also featured on my doc’s before and after pictures, I’m famous now! ????

The b/a picture taken at Dr. Colony’s office was 3 months (I think?) after my surgery. They were still a bit swollen and settling in, which is why they’re more full on top.

The other 3 pics are my fully healed, settled in boobs. I’ve lost some weight since my surgery, so they’re less “full” but they don’t feel/look saggy. I love how natural they are!

If you look closely you can see my right breast is a tiny bit less perky than my left, and the scar below my nipple is more visible. I have fibrous cysts that come and go in my right breast, which makes it larger than my left when they’re present (I don’t have a cyst currently in these photos). This is why it’s settled differently, nothing to do with the surgery.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to have surgery, and my results! I used to wear sturdy bras with thick underwires and straps to hoist my girls up, now I wear bralettes most days which is way more comfortable. I can buy any shirt I’d like (ex. open-back tops) without worrying if my bra will be visible! My fiancée also loves them, and I feel way more confident.

These benefits plus the minimal pain and downtime following surgery made my breast lift 100% worth it. Dr. Colony is an excellent surgeon and was very professional and comforting. His staff was amazing, except for the person who gave me my IV pre-op (see my prior review about that). Even then, Dr. Colony mentioned my review on here at my follow up appointment and addressed the situation, assuring me it had never been an issue before and the staff member in question was talked to. He handled it perfectly, and it showed how much he cares about his patients. Love my [RS bleep], love Dr. Colony’s office, I couldn’t recommend this procedure enough!!

3 month update

Sorry for no side pic, it’s hard to take a picture of your own breasts! Wow, I? can’t express how happy I? am with my results, the picture doesn’t do them justice. I? am so much more confident, clothes fit easier, and I? don’t have to worry about wearing uncomfortable underwire bras every day. This surgery was so worth it!
This was my first major surgery, and I? was really surprised with how quick recovery was. I? only took pain medication for 4 days or so, and after a week I? was totally fine to return to daily activities (with no heavy lifting, of course). Nipple sensitivity (which was minimal) subsided after 2 months or so, and the only pain I? feel currently is strain on my stitches if my breast is situated wrong.
As for the staff at Dr. Colony’s office, they have been nothing but amazing! Dr. Colony handled the situation from my previous review very professionally, and said it was out of character for the individual involved. I? trust him, and I? will return here for any other plastic surgery needs. The receptionist staff is so friendly and even remembered my name for my last appointment! Love the atmosphere and short wait times at the office, and I? couldn’t recommend Dr. Colony enough.

I've been considering a breast lift since I was 17 years old, and I finally went through with it! Currently on the mend, but I'm very happy with what I see so far. Pain isn't bad, especially with prescribed norco (although I'm only on ibuprofen at the moment). More sore than anything. Will update with more pics as I heal!

Dr. Colony was AMAZING! He has this calming aura he gives off, just him being in the room put me at ease. He was nothing but professional and knowledgable, and he does amazing work. I am rating "Staff professionalism and courtesy" one star because of ONE staff member (I wish I could rate everyone individually, because everyone else was so amazing). The male Nurse Anesthetist (I believe his name is John, but from my understanding they have 2 NA's, one male one female) was HORRIBLE! I had requested topical numbing cream for my IV and anti-anxiety medication during my pre-op period. Neither of those things were provided for me, which is OK because I understand mistakes happen. What ISN'T okay is the attitude the NA gave me for even requesting those things. One of the nurses had previously placed some cream on my arm, which I was told was topical numbing cream. When I mentioned this to him, he cut me off mid sentence and said, "I can ASSURE you, there is no topical numbing cream in this office. We have local anesthetic, that's all I can offer you" in a rude, short tone. He had me sit up to place my IV, and I passed out when he dug for the vein. While I was unconscious, he rolled his eyes and said to my mother, "Well she got herself all worked up..." with attitude! I was slouched up against the wall in an uncomfortable position when I regained consciousness. The NA immediately starts to go for a new vein, and I had to say, "Excuse me, can I lay down while you place this one?" to which he huffed and rolled his eyes because he had to move some of his equipment. There was no empathy from this NA, which I really needed at the time because I was so nervous. The worst part of all of this is the fake kindness I received from him once we walked into the OR. He was all chatty and laughing all of a sudden, like he hadn't just been completely unprofessional 5 minutes prior (I'm guessing because other professionals were now in the room). I absolutely love this office, and I don't want this to deter anyone from seeing Dr. Colony. I didn't catch the name of my pre-op nurse, but she was wonderful. Post-op, I woke up with Monica who was lovely to chat with and made sure I was totally comfortable before I was discharged. It's unfortunate that one bad staff member can ruin an experience. My hope is that a staff member will see this review and will discuss this behavior with the NA. I would advise anyone seeking treatment from this office to make sure the female NA (I believe her name is Jodie) will be present during your surgery. My pre-op experience was terrifying, and I hope no one else has or ever will experience this level of unprofessionalism.
