Happy but not happy...
I've been struggling with this for a while, so I just havent felt like updating. I was told at my 3 month post op, that my left might possibly have stage one CC. Or it could just be dropping a lot slower. But that's unlikely, and I probably won't see too many more changes. I really hope it's just a case of a reeeeally slow drop on one side, (I have my doubts about that). This makes me sad knowing there's a good chance it might get worse. My surgeon recommended waiting the full year and then revaluate. Possibly go in and lower the crease in my left to drop it down into place.
Don't get me wrong, I am still happy I went through with this procedure. I just didn't anticipate having any issues. I was very symetrical prior to surgery and now there such a big difference between the two. It kinda sucks :(
6 weeks!!!
As for scars, I was given a tube of scar fade that I massage on twice a day. My scars feel lumpy due to the dissolvable stitches right under the surface. They will dissolve within 3ish months I was told. The more massaging the faster that'll happen. One scar is slightly darker than the other, but they both look great!
I was given the go ahead to pretty much do everything I could do before surgery, exersice, swimming, carrying my kids lol. So hubby and I took our girls to the pool..... Let me tell you, I felt good AND weird at the same time. Being so "exposed" lol. I felt like everyone was staring at my new rack haha. Which Im sure SOME weren't. But I sure felt like it lol. That will take some getting used to, (being comfortable with showing these puppy's off in swimsuits lol). I'm pretty conservative so it's a weird feeling. I feel like a teenager again haha. Hubby loves it! Anyhoo, I cracked down after my 6 week check up and purchased two new bras from Lasenza..... I see now what everyone is talking about, the difficult task of finding comfortably fitting bras! But I managed to get 2, (no padding or push up of course), just lightly lined. They sure are comfortable. Although I'd take my sports bras over actual bras any day! But they're nice to have!
I'll update again after my 3 month post op! Happy healing ladies!!
UPDATE!!
Anyways, onto boobs news.. I LOVE them!! They are getting much softer, still a bit in the firm side, but they actually move when I jump now, (a little bit lol). So my right has dropped faster than my left and at the moment, they aren't matching lol. My boobs were almost identical before surgery, so I'm hoping that they even out and end up like that again after I'm completely dropped and fluffed!
My right nipple is still numb and also a small area on the top on my left breast and underneath my nipple on my left side, right above my scars. Only time will tell if that feeling comes back!! I'm hoping so!
I went to lasenza and was sized at a 34D!!!! That was fun!! I didn't buy anything though because the thought of spending a ton of money on bras that won't end up fitting in a month or two, makes no sense to me. Plus I was sized at at 34D but was mostly fitting 34DD, so I imagine once all done dropping and fluffing, I'll end up a34DD. Here's a few shots of where I'm at now with booby progress!
Provider Review
There isn't enough space here for me to describe how absolutely thrilled I am with Dr. Mosher and his staff. I was recommended to him by a friend who had a great experience during her augmentation. This man is most definitely doing what he was gifted to do!! Right from the start, I felt very comfortable with Dr. Mosher and his girls. Everyone is just so nice and friendly there. He knew exactly what I was aiming for an have me exactly that. Even when I was second guessing myself, he takes me through it and reassured me everything was going to turn out amazing! Props to you Dr. Mosher!!!! :)
