Get there slowly but surely

Today I went in to see the Dr. First time back since the Lipo of my flanks. He was pleased with my progress. Still swollen a lil but he thinks I'm healing fine. I had a couple hard spots, which he instructs me to use the massage ball to massage to help loosen them up. I was given another compression garment and advised to wear them comsistently. I must admit I haven't been wearing the garment as much as I should but that's gonna change. He also gave me the ok to start working out, so I will be starting at 30-45 mins a day 3 times per week and then gradually increase my time and days. Can't wait for my 6 weeks post op appt.

Need a good compression garment/looking like i never had lipo

Today makes a week and one day, Ive notice that my flanks looks like it was never touched even tho it was. The numbness is subsiding more and more everyday. I still have pain but with activity or when I first wake up in the mornings. Im a lil frustrated because im still able to pinch my sides and I shouldn't be able to and my roll is still present. I call the dr's office and theyI hope it is cause I really need this change. Fingers cross.

Getting Better Day by Day

Today I'm on my 5th day. Angie from my surgeons offices called me the following day to check on me. She also gave me a number to get a lymphatic massage to help drain the tumescent fluid from my body. Im not able to do that so I will jus use the massage ball and try to use it as best as possible til I can get one done.So far minimal pain, I've only had two Tylenol 500mg since I had my Lipo on Tuesday. I haven't filled my script for my Vicodin because I'm not really a pill taker and I don't think I will even take them. I'm still swollen, I've taken off my CG to shower. So far so good!

Dr. Goldfarb is a professional. He is very educated about what he is doing and takes pride in his work as well as patient care and patient desires. He's not the one to give you false hope and sell you pipe dreams. He allows you to share your desires/goals but at the same time he gives it to you from a realistic point of view and I love that about him. He is very honest about the procedure as well as what to expect. I would definitely go back to Dr. Goldfarb when my money gets right again.
