6 weeks PO
I made it to that 6 week mark and I'm stoked!
This week was basically spent just enjoying it. My sensation is better than it used to be, which is a happy surprise. It's amazing what a simply little trim has done for me.
A little birdy requested I post a front standing photo, so this ones for you ;)
I like that my hood is still "fleshy" looking, I feel like it gives me a more natural appeal, I dont think reducing it would have done me any extra favors visually anyway.
I've put away my cream, I havent needed it at all.
I know you're all dying to know. What's the sex like?
Let me tell you! It's like losing your virginity, but worse lol. I found the easiest position was to get on top, so I could be in control. The skin was not happy about the new stretch after the trauma of surgery, but after a little persistence I've got elasticity coming back and my labia are starting to soften. I'm happy to announce that I hardly experience any pain at all now during sex and look forward to a long, and healthy sex life.
I'm going to count this as a victory for myself, as well as Dr. Allan. He changed my life and I'm so glad I placed my happiness in his capable hands. I dont think I'll be updating further after this. So thanks for joining me, I hope my story is helpful and encourages others forward to confidence too!

Three weeks PO
Well I made it half way. I used my cream religiously this week, the itch was incredible but manageable as long as I kept cleaning and applying.
Still waiting for some stitches to finish dissolving. I've accidentally pulled a few out while cleaning myself but they came out without resistance and without pain, so I'm guessing they were ready to go anyway.
I'm still happy with my results. It will always veer off to the side because of my choice to skip a perineal repair and to simply have the separated tissue trimmed away, since it was not severe. It's only a minor cosmetic flaw and I'm overwhelmed with joy over the rest of my results. I have taken to wearing my husbands boxer briefs because of the way they sag at the groin, gives me the feeling of being covered while having the comfort of giving my lady bits some space. Three more weeks to go, I'll check in again at 4 weeks.

Two weeks PO
Well another week has passed, I have been dealing with some swelling as my stitching clearly came undone too early. However; it all seems to be keeping together so I haven't felt the need to contact Dr. Allan. Obviously some discomfort comes with that, including the occasional stabbing of my nerves coming back to life. Which is a good thing I suppose although uncomfortable.
I am officially up and about, I'll lay down when I start to get sore but I can get up and down my stairs without trouble. Victory!
Still some stitches needing to dissolve and they are bothersome. My labia are kinda stiff and the scabbing sucks but I expect that to soften up over the coming weeks and hopefully the lips will relax and sit together a little more naturally. Over all I'd have to say this process has been more uncomfortable than painful all the way through. I flip flop on whether or not I'll want a hood reduction later, I'm still happy with my results though!
I'll keep updating until I'm 6 weeks PO so tune in soon.
