Successful procedure - happy with the changes so far

I am writing this review, 4 weeks post op. It’s important for me to share since previous reviews on this platform helped me make the decision to proceed with Dr Medalie. Initially, my phone consultation was smooth to set up with Valerie. I was traveling 6 hours from out of town so additional resources were provided for a smooth process. Hotel rooms, traveling nurse if you are solo and pre op recommendations. My procedure was scheduled 3 weeks after the consultation which was awesome. Upon arrival, check in was quick and the Dr. was assisted by Sue in the surgical room which is located in the office. I was a bit nervous but the Dr and Sue made it comfy with a few laughs and small talk. I chose to do local so I was not put to sleep which meant that I had to get needles to numb the procedure areas. My procedure was labiaplasty to include fat grafting in Labuan majors as well. The numbness was tough and the most painful part for me overall. It’s an uncomfortable pain that goes away immediately after but the process is a huge pinch. You can get through it! Immediately after, I stayed at a local hotel for two nights prior to getting on the road. I actually had a friend to drive up with me at the last moment which was very helpful. A lot of swelling down there but not a lot of pain. I took the Oxy only on the first night to prevent any pain. Thereafter, I used the ibuprofen recommended. To look at the Vagina after surgery is not recommended because you will look like an alien and you will not recognize your parts as beautiful nor presentable. So far, no super pain, no complications, nor yeast infections, no itching or burning. My week follow up went well via zoom. I would like to go into the office doe my 3 month following so I called to schedule a date for that. Items that helped me along the way so far at 4weeks op. - Portable bidet/ water bottle to use after bathroom (Amazon) -Flushable wipes, not toilet paper, not even at 4weeks op -Dial anti-bacterial soap I will use for the next six months just because it’s working. Not irritating itching or burns -Senior natural laxative (Amazon) - Supplements Arnica Montana to prevent bruising and swelling -Vaseline, use it after your recommended ointment is used -Donut pillow, for couching sitting and the car -sanitary pads that I use everyday, all day even after no leakage - men’s boxer shorts, comfy and not tight -Some support for at least for 3-4 days to stay off feet and not extending yourself. I have been taking pictures every day size the procedure and I see the changes that I am happy with so far. I would recommend Dr Medalie and actually my friend that drove me to Cleveland wants to mow far the procedure. Good Luck !
