The first thing to say about Mr Marando is that he is a lovely man, who genuinely cares about you as a patient. He has an ability to put you at ease and is unfailingly considerate and respectful in everything he does, from his choice of language to the way in which he carries out examinations. He is empathetic and clearly understands the emotions associated with elective surgery. Beyond this, he is an incredibly skilful surgeon. My experience was that not only did he produce the aesthetic result we had discussed, but he did so in a way which meant that my recovery was incredibly easy, with minimal discomfort. I would like to extend my thanks to the whole team at Star. Every contact I have had with them has been positive. The whole team makes you feel welcome, at ease and cared for. Particular thanks to Nyasha who cared for me so well on my day of surgery, with great skill and humour! For me, this surgery corrected an issue I had been concerned about for a long time following the birth of my children. The team at Star made this a wholly positive and empowering experience.
