Life-changing Results. I Wish I Had Done It Sooner

I had a consultation with Dr. Patrick Campbell about a year and a half ago to discuss Labiaplasty. It took me quite a while to make the decision to go ahead with the procedure, as I was apprehensive about a few different things, mostly the recovery time and sensitivity. However I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. The results have been truly life-changing, and I couldn't be happier.

From my very first consultation, Dr. Campbell was kind, approachable, professional, and incredibly understanding. He took the time to listen to my concerns, answered all of my questions with no judgement, and made me feel completely comfortable throughout the entire process. His expertise and compassionate approach gave me the confidence I needed to move forward when I was ready.

The procedure itself was a breeze (for me). I was awake with local anaesthetic. Did not feel a thing. The nurses were amazing at keeping my mind occupied. Once I got back to the hospital room and the anaesthetic wore off this is when I started to feel a burning pain, understandably. I sat on a lumbar cushion for the car journey home which I felt helped. I had a lot of ice packs prepared in the freezer at home so I iced a lot. This gave me a lot of relief. As a precaution I took 2x paracetamol before bed on the first night. There was zero pain. I never needed any pain medication after this, which I was completely shocked at. I took it easy for the week and followed all the aftercare provided to me. This, I felt has helped enormously with the recovery.

I am almost 5months post op and I would say I am close to being fully healed. It took myself and my husband 8 weeks for intimacy to return as I was being extra cautious. I was recommended to wait 7weeks for intimacy, which I thought at the time was a bit 'excessive', however it was definitely needed.

I am so grateful to Dr. Campbell for the care he provided and for the amazing outcome. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering this procedure. Thank you for making such a positive difference to my confidence and quality of life.
