Week 7!
I had a 6 week post op appointment last week and my surgeon said I may have had a reaction to some of the stitches as I was getting spots of bleeding so they gave me a ointment called bactroban to take home and apply for a week twice a day. It’s helped a lot! Overall I’m happy about the outcome but I’m not happy about the bubble next to my clitoris which I found out is apart of my labia. So I’m pretty sure in the future eventually I’ll have a revision to fix it....

I commented on your post before wishing you luck as we were both at the same stage and I was still suffering quite late in the day too.
Funnily enough, it transpires that I have this exact issue too. A piece of my labia next to my clitoris was cut and not reattached to the lower part of the labia. I haven’t complained yet to the surgeon as I’m going to get a second opinion, so that if the surgeon tries to tell asymmetry is normal , that I can be like ‘HELL NO’.
What has your surgeon said if you don’t mind me asking? Would they charge for revision?
I’m not sure I can face more procedures and another 2+ months of healing but I can’t leave it like this :(
Yours looks perfect, but given that you have what I have, can imagine that’s all your fixating on right now. Super frustrating! X
I feel the same as you! At the time I was experiencing bleeding and they said that I may have had a reaction to the stitches because they where taking a long time to dissolve. (Still bleeding btw) He said that the lumps were apart of my labia and if I want revision I have to wait 6 months.
I mean on top of the fact that I will have to undergo surgery again at some point the fact I paid almost 5000 pound I want it to be perfect first time! :( i believe it was the way it was cut tbh x
How far post op are you? Do you have photos. I want to see if yours is the same as mine is. I’m so depressed over this.
Oh my gosh ladies, I think the same happened to me! I’m 3 weeks post op and I was botched :’( I’m going to get an experts opinion as well and plan to sue my surgeon. I would never let her touch me again.
How many weeks post up the you now? I remember thinking the same at around 3 or 4 weeks but things got so much better after 6 weeks x
I don't regret my decision but I wouldn't don't want to have to have a revision :( bitter sweet I guess !
I’m 3 weeks. She hacked my labia though :( You obviously still have labia. You are fortunate. I realized last night it’s both sides under my clit that aren’t reattached, not just one side like I’ve been thinking. I biggest regret of my life. Have you looked at my photos yet?
Heyy, how are things now? Do you have any more pics? I am looking to get this surgery done within next couple of months but cant decide what surgeon I want to go with x

Last couple of days I have noticed that the swelling has gone down A lot! I’m really happy with the way things are looking overall however still have some questions about my clitoris.... and the bubble

Wow, thanks for so much documentation... the way the doctor talked about this.. it was a week recovery. I am worried about returning to work in 2 weeks. How soon were you able to wear jeans/tight clothing again? Do you have recommendations on what to wear to stay comfortable and protect yourself to heal?
