Labiaplasty with Hood Reduction

I had wanted this surgery since I was 15 years old. After having kids and being done I decided it was the right time and finally went for it. I chose Dr. Alter because I had seen him on t.v. years ago and was like, "oh my god, I wish I could have that surgery. At that time he was one of the best for that surgery and I believe he still is. I'm a little over a year out and I could not be HAPPIER that I did it! Dr. Alter was very nice and answered all my questions. His receptionist and assistant were super nice. The surgery went well. He used the wedge procedure. There was of course some pain, but not unbearable or anything. Nothing some ice and weed couldn't help(I hate painkillers,make me sick). It looked terrifying at first lol!, was very bruised and just weird looking but even then I knew I would love it. The first few weeks were the worst, I would advise lot's of vaseline. But after that it wasn't too bad. Had sex for the first time 6 weeks out just to be safe. It was a little painful, super tight, but we were gentle. Tried again a week later and it was like nothing had ever happened. I haven't had any complications and I love it. I'm not scared to wear certain bathing suit bottoms anymore and no more pinching in cute underwear or tight pants. Even my husband who always said it looked fine before the surgery was like, "Wow, you look amazing!" It's also really helped my confidence so he likes that too. I would definitely recommend this surgery to anyone who has considered it but, Do your homework on surgeons and their methods. That's a very sensitive area.
